1 Blossom Theatre Festival Passport & Schedule March 9-11, 2018 Salem, Oregon
2 The Cherry Blossom Theatre Festival is produced by the Salem Theatre Network. Proceeds help fund the Young Audiences Opportunity Grant, which transports middle school students to see high school plays in the greater-salem area. We are proud to partner with: The Salem Theatre Network (STN) is an alliance of 12 theatre organizations with the mission of supporting, promoting, and uniting theatre communities in and around Salem, OR. We envision a greater-salem theatre community that is a destination for audiences and artists across the Pacific Northwest and that cultivates new generations of diverse artists and audiences. Visit us online at SalemTheatreNetwork.org. WELCOME! Welcome to our second annual city-wide theatre festival in beautiful Salem, Oregon. Thanks to our returning patrons for making last year s festival such a success. In 2018, we are proud to present 15 performances and 5 workshops across 6 venues in downtown Salem. Over the next three days, we hope you see a play (or several!), partake of the mid-valley s finest food and drink, and most especially experience the sense of community that comes from taking part in live performance. Between shows, please enjoy Salem s beautiful downtown. Grab a drink or a bite. Talk to someone new about the show you just saw! And remember to check out the Passport Challenge on the back page of this program to take advantage of the wide range of festival events and get a chance to win awesome prizes! Questions? Visit SalemTheatreNetwork.org/cherryblossom or contact the Pentacle Ticket Office by phone at or in person at 145 Liberty St. NE., Salem, OR The Oregon Community Theatre Alliance (OCTA) is a state-wide association of theatres that aims to provide support, education, and networking that will elevate community theatre as a whole. OCTA is a proud member of the American Association of Community Theatres. We hope to make the Cherry Blossom Theatre Festival a regular event, adding to the rich cultural landscape of the mid-willamette Valley. With your continued support for live theatre, we will do just that. Thank you, and enjoy the show.
