5 PART 1 WORLD WAR 1 & 2 Day 1: Commemorative Tours for your Choir 2018/19 Travel by luxury Coach from designated pick up points via Ferry to our destination in France Arras. We stay in a central Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Late afternoon and evening at leisure. Day 2: A touring day visiting some of the most important locations of World War 1, including the Faubourg-d Amiens Cemetery in Arras and the Menin Gate Ypres Belgium [47 miles from Arras]. The choir will perform briefly prior to being present for the Last Post. After this historic and moving ceremony, we return to our hotel. Evening at leisure. Day 3: A free day to explore the area with coaching available. Early evening concert in Arras Cathedral ending at approximately 7.30pm. Post concert return to hotel with rest of evening at leisure. Day 4: After breakfast your group will have free time and will participate in one of the planned Memorial events during the morning, departing late afternoon for home. 6 Part 2 comrades Gala event 2018/19 tchaikovsky concert hall and the Bolshoi Moscow This tour will be of a 6 day duration [October] and is open to choirs, individual choristers, friends and family worldwide. The Massed Male Choir will perform from a standard repertoire. If you would like to be part of the Massed Male Choir and take part in this fantastic event, please fill in the enclosed registration of interest form and we will forward a booking form and tour itinerary to you. A chance to perform in one of the most famous venues in the world of music. The main package will include: Return International Flights 5 nights accommodation on a b&b basis. Airport transfers in Moscow and concert transfers included. * Music will be provided to choristers free of charge. *Tour price from 850 per person in twin share and an option to extend your tour if so desired. 7 PART 2 Comrades Comrades Tour to Naples & Sorrento 2019 Spring 2019 Two of the most beautiful Cities in Italy Sorrento is a town overlooking the Bay of Naples in Southern Italy and can be reached easily from Naples and Pompeii as it is at the south-eastern end of the Circumvesuviana rail line. The Sorrentine Peninsula has views of Naples, Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri. The Amalfi Drive, connecting Sorrento and Amalfi, is a narrow road that threads along the high cliffs above the Tyrrhenian Sea. Five nights in Naples, with a concert in the City and also in Sorrento. From our base we have time to travel the 45km to Sorrento to experience this spectacular location. This Comrades tour is open to Choristers and Supporters. 8 Open to Choristers and Supporters. PART 2 Comrades WALES V ARGENTINA 2018 In June 2018 Wales are due to return to Argentina to take on the Pumas in their own back yard. The final tour itinerary is yet to be announced, but we are delighted to offer the 3 Test Tour for Choristers and all Supporters. 9 PART 2 Comrades 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan! September 2019 Melody Music is delighted to be forming THE FOUR NATIONS Choir to travel to Japan along with supporters and friends. We are planning a 12 day tour, visiting some of the most iconic locations in the country. After 7 days of touring we join the excitement of being part of the Rugby World Cup Complete the Registration of Interest form and we will send more information. The Lions Male Choir 2021 South Africa This will be the sixth Lions Choir tour arranged by Melody Music. The tour is open to any chorister from the Home Nations. As in the past the MM Lions tours, are more cost effective than any other operator offering the same standard of tour. Melody Music was delighted to bring together the official Lions Choir for 2013, and in 2017 the travelling party had a truly fantastic time in New Zealand. Early registration is recommended for this tour as numbers for choristers and supporters are limited to refundable deposit secures place.
