2 Label Profile: Showing alternatives to nowadays psy-trance scene, Suntrip focuses on melodic psychedelic music in all its forms. All original music ranging from melodic deep ambient to melodic goa trance are welcome! History: The label Suntrip Records was set up in the summer of 2004 by Fabien Mars, one of the founders of the Psynews.org website and Joske Anoebis, a Belgian DJ and Party-organiser. They ve been sharing the same love for melodic psychedelic trance for years. They created Suntrip to release more melodic psytrance like in the good old times, but with modern production. The prodigious talent Filteria released 3 albums full of mind blowing tracks & uplifting psychedelic melodies. Khetzal, Frenchman known from numerous releases on labels as Ultimae gave us a great mixture of down and uptempo spiritual and floating Melodic Trance. With his Fairytale album, veteran Ka-Sol delivered a perfect mix between melodic, dark and twisted soundscapes ; described as Forest Trance. Dimension 5 s classic Transdimensional was remastered & re-issued, and it still blows dance floors! Melodic mastermind Goasia also released his debut album on Suntrip in Compilations, Apsara and Twist Dreams gathered a mixture of famous melodic Goa Trance producers and new talents. We released Opus Iridium, a double CD celebrating our 10 th release. It featured the most talented artists within the Goa and Ambient scenes. RA s 9th shook the dancefloors and home soundsystems with true storytelling Goa trance anno Sundrops compilation got also highly acclaimed saw Merr0w s debut album, and the acclaimed 3 rd album of Filteria, both showcasing massive drives and melodies! Also Afgin did a great job with his debut album filled with sensitive sunrise music! Then Radical Distortion showed the perfect mix between modern analog productions and classic old school goa melodies and sounds. Lastly, The debut album of E- Mantra drove us to a little more acidic, twisted and darkish atmospheres, without forgetting the melodies! Most of them in Belgium, but other countries are following lately, like Hungary and soon Finland. The parties involved virtually all artists from the label, like Filteria, Khetzal, Ka-Sol, Goasia, Merr0w, Afgin, Dimension 5, Ra, E-Mantra, Artifact303, But also non Suntrip artists were invited, like Jaia, Blue Planet Corporation, California Sunshine, Shidapu, In 2010 many more parties will happen; and in Belgium alone, E-Mantra, Merr0w and Somnesia are booked so far. Many other bookings are set every week: Brazil (Universo Paralello), Greece, Israel, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Switzerland Filteria alone is literally playing around the world and some of our other artists are starting to follow this example! In the past the Suntrip Djs and groups have played on hundreds of parties and festivals, all over Europe including many famous ones like Full Moon, Aurora festival, Elixiria, Heron... and Filteria is going to play at the mythic Boom Festival this year!

- Several Israeli Magazines interviewed us or our artists, and reviewed our releases. MNews in Israël featured a complete goatrance revival article with Suntrip as an example.

Radio: In April 2008, Pathan's musical Rickshaw on the BBC Radio, selected Solar Fields - Confusion Illusion Rmx from our compilation Opus Iridium as best Sunset soundtrack.

We were also featured on various radio shows in Belgium (Gent) and France (Lille) in the past years, and a Canadian radio is also finishing radio show about our label.

MNews in Israël featured a complete goatrance revival article with Suntrip as an example. - In Sweden Filteria had an interview on the Zero Music Magazine, summer 2008 edition. DVD: Filteria of Suntrip Records was featured on the Full Moon DVD release! There was an interview with him and an exclusive unreleased track. TV: In Israel Afgin worked together with a group of people that made a documentary of 10 minutes about the old school goa resurrection in Israël. This was broadcast on national television. In 2009 national Belgian television also broadcasted a press conference of a festival (called Eargasm) where Afgin presented his debut album
