2 Label Profile: Showing alternatives to nowadays psy-trance scene, Suntrip focuses on melodic psychedelic music in all its forms. All original music ranging from melodic goa trance to melodic deep ambient are welcome! History: The label Suntrip Records was set up in the summer of 2004 by Fabien Mars, one of the founders of the Psynews.org website and Joske Anoebis, a Belgian DJ and Party-organiser. They ve been sharing the same love for melodic psychedelic trance for years. They created Suntrip to release more melodic psytrance like in the good old times, but with modern production. Filteria is one of Suntrip s headliners. He released 4 albums full of mind blowing tracks & uplifting psychedelic melodies. In 2009 only, the mythic Daze of Our Lives and a digital Remix album saw the light. Khetzal, Goasia, and RA provided us with what Suntrip is well known for: true storytelling Goa trance albums with down and uptempo spiritual and floating melodies. The darker side of Suntrip is embodied by Ka-Sol, as he has a perfect mix between melodic, dark and twisted soundscapes. Dimension 5 s classic Transdimensional was remastered & re-issued, and it still blows dance floors! In 2009, Afgin and Merr0w both released their debuts. From sensitive sunrise music to massive drives and melodies! Later Radical Distortion also showed the perfect mix between modern analog productions and classic old school Goa sounds. In November 2009, E-Mantra's album drove us to a little more acidic, and darkish atmospheres. Finally, in 2010 Electrypnose released an ambient album on Suntrip! He showcased his talent before on some compilations and is now ready to blow you away with his magical storytelling debut-album called Exodus! His music can be best described as pure sensitive spiritual goa-trance with an acidic edge. His fairytale starts with Exodus, which is a slow and deep downtempo intro track. It is followed by the progressively building morning monster Mysticism. After that the energy rises and Aurum Solis is a great uplifting goa-trance track. In the 4 th Dimension and Dreaming Universe we get loads of acid 303 s on top of the goa-trance melodies which results in twisted dancefloor monsters... After that we go back into the floating style with Mount Meru and specially Astral Plane that are pure morning trance gems. The album ends in beauty with a soft downtempo track called Sun Sacntuary! In the beginning mostly in Belgium, but later other countries followed such as Hungary, Finland, Ukraine and Croatia. Of course the parties involved virtually all artists from the label, like Filteria, Khetzal, Ka-Sol, Goasia, Merr0w, Afgin, Dimension 5, Ra, E-Mantra, Artifact303, Antaris, But also many non Suntrip artists were invited, like Jaia, Blue Planet Corporation, California Sunshine, Mystica, Sandman, Shidapu, NDMA, Moonweed, Crossing Mind, In 2011 many more parties will happen! Suntrip live acts & Dj s: Many of our live-acts such as Filteria, Ra, Goasia, E-Mantra,... and dj s such as Anoebis and Ukiro are booked every week. They have played all over the world and drove the dancefloors crazy on many big festivals (such as Boom Festival in Portugal, Aurora festival in Greece, Universo Paralello in Brazil, Antaris in Germany,...). But also many smaller festivals and cosy parties invited Suntrip artists in countries such as Israel, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Mexico, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, France, Holland,

5 Magazines: - In Belgium an interview with Anoebis will be published in a magazine for young people during the first months of Several Israeli Magazines interviewed us or our artists, and reviewed our releases. MNews in Israël featured a complete goatrance revival article with Suntrip as an example. - In November 2008 the Greek Magazine Freeze made a special about Suntrip Records. The issue included a free mix-cd by Anoebis, plus 7 pages of info about Suntrip Records and their artists. - In October 2008, Freeze had already performed an interview of Filteria. - In Sweden Filteria had an interview on the Zero Music Magazine, summer 2008 edition. Radio: - In December 2010 there was a Suntrip Records special on a Belgian radio focussing on electronic underground music. The program called uur obscuur broadcasted 2 hours of Suntrip music and a special interview. It was also placed on the internet afterwards. - In April 2010 a live dj-set by Anoebis on the Once Upon A Festival was broadcasted on the Belgian radio Ugent - In April 2008, Pathan's musical Rickshaw on the BBC Radio, selected Solar Fields - Confusion Illusion Rmx from our compilation Opus Iridium as best Sunset soundtrack. - In June 2008, D-Trance radio station from Serbia made a special about Suntrip Records and RA. -We were also featured on various radio shows in Belgium (Gent) and France (Lille) in the past years, and a Canadian made also a radio show about our label. DVD: Filteria of Suntrip Records was featured on the Full Moon DVD release! There was an interview with him and an exclusive unreleased track. TV: - In 2010 a team was busy with making a documentary about Suntrip and Belgian Goa Trance in general. - In 2009 national Belgian television also broadcasted a press conference of a festival (called Eargasm) where Afgin presented his debut album. - In Israel Afgin worked together with a group of people that made a documentary of 10 minutes about the old school goa resurrection in Israël. This was broadcast on national television.
