We could create a lot of excitement and cultural inspiration through concert, masterclass, education program and other activities with power of music for the public. The exhibition became for us a place for meetings with our friends and associates. The main goal at the show is to present our novelties to a wide audience, to tell teachers, students, pupils and their parents, professional and amateur musicians about our musical instruments. The exhibition is done at a high level. There are many business-oriented visitors with a high level of professionalism, among them lighting artists and event companies. Andrey Alekhin, marketing Director and sales support, Sennheiser Audio, Russia We has been presented in the Russian market for almost 10 years now, and we have been exhibiting in the Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia since the very beginning of the show. We are very pleased that this exhibition exists in Russia, because Sennheiser Audio takes part in the similar international fairs as well. Some companies are skeptical about participating in the exhibitions because they are considered to be expensive and inefficient, but the Prolight + Sound NAMM disproves these myths. From the organizational point of view, everything is fine. It is nice to see young people, students of technical universities, who are preparing to become professionals in the field of sound equipment on our booth. We re now positioned in the ProLight + Sound NAMM Russia area of the event because the pro segment is very important to us. However, we also get to see the MI folks who come to the show, both trade and public. This is what we re here for: get our extensive range in front of the enduser in order to build our brand awareness and to create a pull effect. This has proven to work very well here, as the customer wants to see a wide variety of products and not just what s already available in the shops here. For us, primarily, participation in exhibition is considered to be a part of our work. Of course, the fair is a high day, meetings, coffee and teatime with friends, but still, it is part of the work. Secondly, this show is a live communication with partners, with colleagues, with our dealers, with new visitors from all over Russia, which is important. To participate in the fair means to have an opportunity to show new equipment and to present the brands, which we provide in the Russian market. We welcome all our visitors to our showrooms where we are ready to show them our products non-stop, but the fair is a mass gathering of visitors from Kursk, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, from the Central region to Siberia. People come here from all over the country. The large number of visitors pleasantly satisfied us. 7 Business Program More than 200 business, educational and entertaining events were on offer, many of them were highly significant for their specific segment of the industry. NAMM Musikmesse Russia: PREMIER EVENTS Drummers United drums festival This year, a separate pavilion was created exclusively for drums and percussion for the first time ever. There was an exposition of the leading companies and manufacturers: 64 Audio, Agner, Arsenal Music, Asia Music, Blastbeat Drum Shop, Evans, Meinl, Promark, Roland, Tama, Ultimate Ears and Zildjian, available to try out for all visitors. Besides, an additional stage, Drum Stage, was built inside the pavilion, where visitors could attend the best musicians performances, presentations, masterclasses and drum schools demos. Drummers United 2016 Awards were held here as well, where 9 best drummers were chosen out of more than 150 nominees by competent judges. The contest was sponsored by the companies: MuzTorg, Arsenal Music and Arborea. The sponsors supplied lucrative prizes for the winners of the contest. On Saturday, September 17, at the main stage of NAMM Musikmesse Russia, luminaries of the Russian drum stage took part in a Gala concert. Grand Band Show International Festival-contest of orchestras and ensembles The festival was supported by the Brass Band Centre of the Russian Ministry of Culture, the International media center «Orchestra» and the Moscow State Pedagogical University. During four days of the festival, visitors were able to attend performances made by 26 groups of children, citizens and the military bands from Russia and the CIS, as well as masterclasses led by Russian and foreign masters of the orchestral and instrumental genre. Two of the masters were Joseph Chikota, the director of the WASBE Eastern-European branch (Hungary), and Laslo Maroshi, Doctor of Music, conductor, the professor at the Univerity of Florida (USA). A colorful parade of orchestras with choreographic performance was held on Sokolniki park alleys and open-air exhibition areas. The final accords of the Festival-contest of orchestras and ensembles Grand Band Show were the show Battle of orchestras at the Sokolniki park s central square and a record for the loudest brass orchestra setting. Andrey Loginov, musician (Moscow) At the grandiose drumming party Drummers United 2016 I was able to see with my own eyes the great drummers playing live, I have even got acquainted with some of them. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to get in touch with them. It s actually worth it to communicate with the person from who was your drumming-model. Thanks to everybody who helped Drummers United to become real! Margarita Manilova, musician (Rostov-on-Don) I have been recently in Moscow for a good reason to visit the mega cool International musical fair NAMM Musikmesse Russia and especially the drum festival Drummers United! There I took part in the competition for drummers, where to my own surprise took the 1 st place and got a bunch of great gifts. I performed on a special stage Drum Stage where I played different drums. I met and talked to famous drummers: Oleg Khovrin, Vladimir Zinovev, Vitalii Melentev, Alexander Filippov... well, guys, it s worth it! I recommend to visit NAMM Musikmesse Russia! Igor Tschupikov, Head of wind instruments` chair in the Institute of military bandmasters, the Military University of the Russian Ministry of Defense We take part in this big international musical fair in the framework of the International Orchestra Festival - the Grand Band show. We were amazed at the scale, interesting events, visitors, musical instruments and professional lighting, sound and stage equipment presented at the fair, as well as new trends in the development of the world music industry. Ilya Garbazey, head of the Department of the Military University of the Russian Ministry of Defense I was surprised by the diversity presented at the exhibition. The exhibition organizers have done a great job, and we hope that in the future we will take part in the concert program and in the educational panels for students of music departments of military institutions within the shows framework.

8 Business Program NAMM Musikmesse Russia: PREMIER EVENTS / continuation CHOIREXPO-2016 a guided choir assembly CHOIREXPO-2016 successfully held a 4-day educational session that included masterclasses, seminars and lectures led by leading Russian and European specialists, conferences, roundtable discussions focused on choir types, presentations of choir festivals and contests. These were led by educational and public organizations from different parts of Russia and from abroad. All participants of the guided choir assembly received certificates that they passed the Career Advancing Courses. The everyday educational sessions were finishing with the presentations of choir ensembles colorful performances of the best choirs. CHOIREXPO-2016, the guided choir assembly, was organized by an organizational committee of the Moscow municipal integrated target program of youth education Moscow Children Sing and their direct provider, Center Radost and the unified media portal Music festivals. Art Education Forum called «Teacher. Child. Future», was held in a renewed format at the fair. It was organized by the Department of Educational Programs in the sphere of culture and art, based at the Department of Culture of Moscow. Traditionally participating teachers from regions joined their colleagues from Moscow, as well as by specialized media representatives. The forum held more than 20 discussions on topics in various art areas: music, theater, choreography, fine art. Speakers and discussion participants addressed the topics: an early vocational orientation, children s creative freedom on stage, how to prepare children psychologically to perform in a concert, educational activity in art schools, inclusive education, and graduate employment. First Jazz Forum The exhibition was the first ever platform in Russia where series of events aimed at jazz public were held, including interviews for public, meet&greets and concerts. Several panel discussions on relevant topics of Russian jazz became the top events in the jazz program. The problems of jazz education in Russia were discussed by the teachers of jazz programs, which are held at the State Musical College of pop and jazz art ( Ordynka ), University of Culture, Maimonides State Classical Academy and other educational institutions. The key speakers were the professors Anatoliy Kroll and Alexander Oseychuk, as well as Evgeniy Lebedev piano player, the graduate of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and the Berklee College of Music, Boston. NAMM Musikmesse Russia: ANNUAL EVENTS 1 NAMM University: educational sessions for retailers... the main topic was advertisement and crisis management. 2 Series of events for music teachers presented by two large-scale festivals: Pedagogy festival of contemporary music education technologies for music teachers III Festival of contemporary music education technologies. The both festivals included roundtables, presentations, lectures, masterclasses and seminars, awarding its participants with certificates. Masterclasses and Special programs from: Yamaha Music presented educational center as well as series of master classes led by popular artists, including one of the most popular and influential Japanese keyboard player, Katsunori Ujiie, and a truly genuine drummer, Sean Browne, from Canada CASIO educational center for musical teachers and students round tables by Business-schools RMA master-classes by PR-agency Kushnir Production musical workshops by Educational center Learnmusic special program by guitar festival GuitarPlayer Party special program by Music project GOSHProjects special programs by Media partners of the fair: INRock, EQ, RockVector and many otherss russian music industry review, including roundtables, mini-lectures and open discussions for young musicians, led by a special guest producer from California, David MacFadyen.

9 Business Program Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia welcomed visitors at various forums, which were expanded and attracted people with exclusive speakers and relevant topics: Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia: large forums and events: Theatre Forum a special project, created for theater equipment, technologies, materials and props for stage and show, was successfully held for the third time as one of the highlights of the fair. The forum wide-ranged program attracted hundreds of professionals from all Russian regions and the CIS. It wasn t a surprise since it was formed with the help of the leading specialists from the State Bolshoi Theatre, Vakhtangov s theater, Stanislavsky Electro theatre, Tabakov Theatre, Russian Theatre Workers Union, as well as the leading companies in the industry for theater technologies, equipment and technical solutions for theater and stage. Special tours to the production complex of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, to the Vakhtangov Theatre and the Moscow Music Theatre «Helikon-opera» were organized for the visitors-specialists. Polina Bakhtina, set designer, production designer, winner of the Gold medal of the Prague Quadrennial 2015 For me as an artist, the Forum is necessary, as the connection between artists, architects, manufacturers. Here I discovered a lot of interesting new products, developments and decisions. ONStage Forum specially created for the production companies and professionals who work in the show business and event industry, was a truly spectacular event of the fair. For the two days, the forum s visitors had a unique opportunity to learn from the world celebrities who create the most striking events. ONStage was organized by the company Max`N`Max, who invited the geniuses of production, stage and lighting design, including Tim Routledge, David Gallo, Oli Metcalfe and many other outstanding professionals, especially for the fair MARINA KIM, organizer of Away Russia event I would like to thank the organizers of the Forum for an absolute quality event show: an unusual format, exclusive and versatile speakers, positive emotions and a cognitive information to work. Rental companies Forum, organized in collaboration with Russian Association of rental companies ACTOM, held panel discussion on relevant topics of rental business in Russia. The list of speakers included Randell Greenlee, VPLT international relations manager, Ekaterina Kirillova, «Euroshow» General Director, Alexey Korolev (Midas), production manager and sound engineer, and Alexey Beliy - «5-nizza» band sound engineer. Seminars, master-classes & contests Professional seminars in the area of organization of government tender requests, led by the leading specialist of the Institute of Economics RAN and director of the Center of Effective Procurement «Tendery.ru»; V Lighting Artists Competition, organized by the company Martin Pro, entertained visitors of the fair with unique lighting show designed by amateur artists; Concert sound and psychoacoustics masterclass series led by audio engineering courses «Competent sound».
