The stage was presented by Euroshow Sponsor of the pavilion Pioneer Yamaha Music Russia hosted a conference for dealers during first days of the show in their own pavilion. During the weekend Yamaha Music prepared a real gift for music lovers, by inviting many Yamaha artists to play and demonstrate instruments at the show. In the pavilion popular drummers performed and gave master-classes on the Drum stage Partner and co-organizer of the Drummers United Contest Blastbeat DrumShop Educational sessions for specialists with official certification of upgrade training Partners Pavilion 11.1B Guitar World Pavilion dedicated to guitars and rock-music Tommy Aldridge a legendary drummer and rock musician known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, Gary Moore, Motorhead and Whitesnake, conducted a master class and autograph signing session. Pavilion 7А (1 st floor) Keyboards World Keyboards, acoustic instruments and accessories There was Guitrar stage in the pavilion with diverse schedule of events, including performances, workshops and autograph-sessions. American trumpeter of Russian origin Alex Sipyagin and his quartet presented a world-class jazz performance and a master-class in the very busy pavilion. Well-known Russian pianists and piano students from the Moscow Conservatory and Music Centre demonstrated musical instruments from the world brands. MF Group and Euroshow served as technical partners of this year s exhibition. The pair built and equipped the Drum, Guitar and DJ & Electro Stages, which featured concerts, master-classes and contests. Online billboard KudaGo became the general partner for promotion of the show. Maximum and DFM became the general radio partners of the exhibition

In this sense, NAMM Musikmesse Russia is the most significant event in the Russian music industry. Here I am able to see novelties, play instruments, to learn something new, to get new [what?]. Even one missed day at the fair means lost business and personal opportunities. At the fair, all visitors can personally interact with the representatives of the global brands and famous professional musicians. To have such a dialogue with brands or with people who always inspire you is a good reason to come here. I always visit this fair to have a chance to play new or limited-edited instruments

NAMM Musikmesse Russia is a very important event for us. We are very glad about our decision to participate in the exhibition with a separate pavilion. During 2 first days we have been working with our dealers. In the beginning of a new season, it is important for us to gather all our partners and to communicate about marketing and new products. We are doing our best to inform our clients and end buyers about our novelties and to show all advantages and high quality of our instruments. Nowadays all the information is going to the internet, but exhibiting at the show is the only opportunity to meet with dealers, friends, and partners and to get new contacts. At the fair, we got both sorts of our target audience our business partners and musicians. The audience of visitors completely met our expectations - 90% of the visitors are professionals [and] we got many prospective contacts. It s great that this year the show featuring a separate guitar pavilion it s really hot here with all the concerts, master classes and guitarists parties at the stands and on stage. This time we have decided to exhibit in the Russian show for the first time, because we want to enter the Russian market and neighboring countries. This show is a local one we managed to get good contacts of Russian distributers, shops and manufacturers. We are particularly pleased with the contacts we made with the leading balailaika manufacturer who also exhibited. We have a good opportunity to sell our high quality balailaika strings here.

It was important that visitors could be acquainted with our novelties and our new business lines. As for results, we are more than happy of the exhibiting in the show. There were more target visitors than in previous years. The show is traditionally organized on a high level. Here we present our brands to a wide audience and to meet our dealers. We like a new concept of the show with brand pavilions. It gave us right visitors flow people know where they go and what for. The audience is a very professional. It is important to exhibit at the show for two reasons to show the novelties of brands to promote the sales and to form the unity of musicians, because without this unity there will not be no any market, nor any sales. I always manage to get good contacts during the fair professional drummers and business visitors. We exhibit and show all our novelties without expecting a quick commercial effect. We are here for a reason to remind the Russian music market about our company, because all the dealers have come to this exhibition. We are exhibit at NAMM Musikmesse Russia every year and today we are already planning to participate the next year. There are plenty of visitors at the show; the process is busy and active. We have entered the Russian musical market only this year and the exhibition is a good opportunity for us to display our instruments to a wide professional audience. This venue is a main point of attraction for business-oriented clients and musicians. We have got interesting contacts here and we will definitely exhibit next year. We are participating in NAMM Musikmesse Russia for the first time to promote our new products and to inform our clients, distributers, retailers and end customers about technical developments in the market of musical instruments. There are plenty of visitors at the show; the process is busy and active. Seeing unfailing interest in our products from Russian musicians we decided to open BAM Russia and the musical fair is a perfect platform to build dealer network. At this show, we saw both old contacts and new potential dealers who would like to stock and sell our cases for musical instruments. Piano players are going to Keyboards Worlds straight away and see everything presented at the market, there is no need to search pianos and keyboards between the stands with guitars or drums.

9 Business, education and entertainment program In total, more than 250 events including master classes, educational sessions, festivals, and open lessons, finals of competitions, drawings, performances and autograph sessions were held during the four days of the exhibition, drawing crowds through Sokolniki. Each pavilion presented its own busy agenda of events on stage and at the stands of the participants: DJ & Electro World DJ & Electro World pavilion presented sets from popular residents of Moscow clubs and DJ s of famous local dance radio stations DFM and Megapolis. Events included the hotly anticipated DJ Accelerator PRO # 4, the final of the contest among the best graduates of the radio and DJ school UMAKER, as well as DJ & Electro Stage a media show from Euroshow, featuring the master class of the world famous DJ Zardonic from Venezuela. The best DJ schools of Russia conducted master classes including by popular domestic DJs. Every day Pioneer Professional Audio demonstrated the possibilities of its professional audio systems with the best dance tracks of the year at DJ& Electro Stage.

10 Business, education and entertainment program Drummers United Drummers United Pavilion, in a repeat from last year, brought together famous Russian drummers. Meinl invited one of the most sought-after drummers of the Czech Republic, Milos Meyer, who impressed visitors with his skills and energy. Every day the drum stage was presenting a real drum battle, which was highly appreciated by the visitors. Prizes awarded the winners from Dr.Head. The final of Drummers United 2017 drum competition took place on Saturday. The finalist received valuable prizes from the sponsors of the contest - 64 Audio, MuzTorg and Agner. Guitar World Guitar World pavilion hosted daily master classes, autograph signing sessions and performances of renowned international and domestic musicians and rock bands. The best Moscow guitar and rock schools prepared their special programmes for visitors. Yamaha Weekend Hall The strategic partner of NAMM Musikmesse Russia, Yamaha Musical Instrument Company, presented in a separate pavilion known as the Yamaha Weekend Hall, which featured the company s musical instruments for trial, as well as many top musicians. Tommy Aldridge, the legendary drummer and rock musician known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, Gary Moore, Motörhead, and Whitesnake, conducted a master class and autograph signing session for fans. American trumpeter Alex Sipyagin and his quartet presented a world-class jazz performance on Yamaha instruments and a master class for trumpet players.

11 Business, education and entertainment program Grand Band Show The Grand Band Show, the International Festival-Competition of Orchestras and Ensembles, also returned this year, to welcome the best bands from all over Russia in a competition format. Bands who competed were awarded in several categories, including the Best Professional and Amateur in Brass Bands, Pop, Jazz, and Orchestras of Folk Instruments. In addition to the concert program of the festival, visitors could see the colorful parade-defile of the orchestras along the central alleys of the Sokolniki Culture and Exhibition Center. Master classes of domestic and foreign experts in orchestral and instrumental genre took place within Grand Band Show. Erika Neidlinger, a famous conductor from the U.S. conducted a master class. On Sunday, September 17, the central square of the Sokolniki Park turned into open air stage of a spectacular show The Battle of the Orchestras, which became a beautiful finale of the NAMM Musikmesse CHOIREXPO For the second year, the International Methodical Choir Assembly CHOIREXPO 2017, a joint project of the Organizing Committee of the Moscow City Comprehensive Youth Education Program, the Education Department of Moscow, NAMM Musikmesse Russia, and United Information Portal Music Festivals, took place at the trade fair. The workshop of the choirmasters and seminar sessions of the assembly gathered over 1500 specialists this year. Famous Russian and foreign conductors, choirmasters, and teachers held seminars and lectures, conferences and roundtables. At the end of each lecture day, visitors of CHOIREXPO could witness performances of the best youth, student, professional and church choirs. Business Program / On all days of the exhibition, Yamaha Music and other Russian and world companies hosted a conferences for their dealers from Russia and the CIS For educators, NAMM Musikmesse Russia presented a variety of valuable learning opportunities including an educational session from the guitar festival Guitarplayer Party; the International Conference Music Education in the 21st Century organized by the Russian media-center Music and Electronics the final of the II International open competition Media Music and direct video conference with Professor Lee Higgins, the President of the International Society of Music Education who spoke about aspects of Community Music making.
