4 About the Band and Strings Band: Ninety junior high and high school students from the Association's schools throughout Pennsylvania have been selected for this All-State experience. They have been selected through screening procedures, including consideration of their character, standing in their school, long-term interest in using instrumental music in their future education and adult lives, and their work with the repertoire.
