3 Barber: Capricorn Concerto, Op. 21 CLASSICAL MUSIC WITH BRIAN McCREATH 2010 marks significant anniversaries of several composers, and two of them will be featured in series during January. The better known of the two, Robert Schumann (June 8, July 29, 1856), will be represented by his four symphonies, to be aired on Saturdays at 10am. Also featured are the four brass quintets by Russian composer Victor Ewald (Nov. 27, April 16, 1935), to be aired on Sundays at 10am.
