Conductor Kuno Kerge Lighting the Song Festival Fire 1ST MOMENT OF REFLECTION The interludes of the Gaudeamus Song Festival, both in video and live, study the meaning of the summer solstice here in Estonia, sometimes in a mystical form. The place is the same. The fire is the same. The people at this place around the Fire are different but still very much the same. And so are the circumstances that make them light the Fire. One thing is certain Love is always there. No matter if we are in the primeval times, the Middle Ages, in the early 20th century or in the present. There is Something that unites these times.
