Managed budget of $18 million. The College raised just under $1.7million in charitable donations in previous fiscal year. Major accomplishments include: -Led department-based strategic planning process within the college in Developed rubrics for analysis of low-enrollment degree programs that guided college s resource allocation/program enhancement decisions, resulting in significant savings through elimination of two majors and the merger of two departments -Secured 16 new tenure-track positions despite budgetary turmoil within CSU system -Implemented new faculty travel funding policy giving each tenure track faculty member $1K to enhance their scholarly and creative ambitions, raising faculty participation and scholarly output in Led college-wide reconsideration of departmental retention, tenure and promotion criteria, resulting in documents that more clearly reflect the aspirations of the current generation of teacher-scholar faculty hires -Refocused college s artistic community engagement efforts from staff-provided services to interdisciplinary, faculty-led, research based reciprocal partnership model as first CSU campus invited to membership in the Imagining America consortium -Led college s cost saving effort to migrate IT support from in-house to centralized while maintaining quality of service
