James Trrell The hman skll, opposite, is illminated by both a vertical light bar and a horizontal bar on the base of the case. The display ses a mixtre of linear track as well as both wide and narrow angle spotlights. The linear track provides a general backgrond wash, and we are able to highlight varios parts of the skll with the spotlights. Uniform 3000K otpt provides a warm lighting effect.

6 The image opposite shows how versatile MetroLED is. These vintage pocket watches reqire precisely focssed light to pick ot the intricate details of their constrction. The narrow angle spotlights achieve this with ease, whilst the linear track gives an overall wash. 9 In this system, the lighting designer has employed two gantry systems - one at the front and another at the rear of the display case. Using a combination of 3000K track and narrow angle spotlights allows for an overall light wash, together with tightly focssed beams picking ot specific areas of the toys. Finished in grey to match the case, the MetroLED system provides great illmination whilst remaining discreet.
