The first thing to do when you decide that you require a new meeting room is to define how you want to work in the room. Often there are different approaches for different types of meetings. The room has to be planned in such a way that, for example, connections from a computer to the display or projector are in the right place, that any whiteboards are positioned where you wish to stand and write and so that cameras for remote meetings are in the right places, and so on. A standard room type A is usually intended for meetings for one to four people. Smaller meeting rooms are becoming more common. Not just because there might be a shortage of space, as one might think - but also because users have become aware that it is possible to have more productive meetings with less people involved. The AV technical solution in the Installation Free Mobile consists of a wheeled piece of furniture with a flat screen surrounded by a writing board. 9 If a lot is ultra modern in Installation Free Mobile the chair Mini Kilta is still a classic from the 1950 s. Carefully updated with modern fabrics and wheelbase of polished aluminium. Chairs with wheels in meeting rooms allow the users to effortlessly find comfortable body positions, greatly enhancing the ergonomic experience of the meeting. The conference table has angled legs that has been fitted with wheels. The table is easy and convenient and perfect for the task. Four people can sit comfortably around the table in a regular meeting and two people can have really good seats at the short end of it at web meetings or presentations. There is room for a built-in computer behind the writing board so that you have access to your network or any other resource in a simple way. A standard room type B is usually intended for meetings with two to six people. If you want to work or present with your portable device there is a hinged shelf under the board with all important connection points available. Just place your device on the shelf, plug it in to the screen and possibly the camera too. Preferably use a wireless keyboard and mouse and you can sit at the table and carry out the presentation without any wires. 11 The chair Form is available in several variants. The chair illustrated has four wheels, called Form 4, and has been fitted with a denim blue upholstery and chromed legs. The Frankie table in oak will create a warm and cozy feel. Also available with higher legs for those who have a business that is a little more on the go and therefore prefer to stand around the table. Bring your own device. A shelf for your portable device is located below the writing board. The procedure is that you pull down the shelf, fold it up and push it in towards the wall. The reasons for this solution are that we neatly hide all the wires behind the writing board and that it makes for short cable routes, which guarantees a high signal quality. Moreover, it looks nice. It has glass enamel of the highest quality and a core of FSC-certified MDF. Standard room type C is usually intended for meetings of two to six persons. In groups of that size you will usually have really productive working meetings. This is where the magic happens. 13 One of the bright sides of Installation Free Projection, incorporating Connecto Pro Image is that once again there is room in the ceiling for traditional overhead lighting. Previously, ceiling mounted projectors forced away neater ceiling lights for the benefit of spotlights or fluorescent fixtures. After a couple of decades with downlights it might be nice with a little variety! Nowadays there are even led lamps with E27 socket and built-in wifi speaker for those who want to go the whole hog properly. The conference table Frankie is also available with a T-stand that gives ample legroom. In this example, Frankie has chromed legs and a white laminate top. The T-stand is also available in white. The tops are available in beech, birch, oak and ash. Connecto Pro Image provides easy access, like a standard cable cubby, from the top of the table. When the lid is opened any resemblance to the usual cable cubby will disappear. Two generous cable storage compartments ensure that the table is always neat and tidy. This kind of seating is requested by larger companies, public institutions and associations To increase the applications possibilities, the room is rather easy to rearrange. In this working method, you can write on a writing board and display images from the computer or other video source. To make the installation as cost-effective as possible and facilitate future servicing requirements, our patented solution Connecto Pro Image is placed into the conference table. The projector is placed under the table and the image is reflected on the projection screen. In the same unit you can easily connect your computer to the projector. 17 The Sola chair can also be provided with the seat and the back in ash and a pad in blue denim fabric. AudicomPendax manufactures projection screens in their own building in Skarpnäck a few kilometers south of Stockholm. Each projection screen is produced to customer order - so you will always have the chance to get it exactly as you want it. Size, fabric, motor, control and casing are tailored to the smallest detail. Yet you ll have it only a few weeks after the order. A wireless keyboard and mouse is very convenient to use in the meeting rooms. With this working method you can display images from your own computer, or other source, via an easily accessible connection-, control- and projection system. The same roller table with built in projector and Cable Cubby (Connecto Pro Image) as in the standard room type D is used. If you compare the picture on this page with the image that shows standard room type D, you can see that we have turned the table so that the projector displays the image in the opposite direction and in the picture here we have rolled down a screen from the ceiling. The installation-free principle shows itself from its best side. You do not even need to unplug the power cord to turn the table around. The transformation is made in an instant. By gathering all intelligent meeting technology in a single device, all the advanced switches and controllers otherwise used in open areas can be avoided along with all the kilometres of cable routing that s always required. As an option, a motorized projection screen can be wirelessly controlled from the control system in the Connecto Pro Image. This solution can be usefully complemented with remote meeting solutions such as a webcam, speaker, microphone or video conferencing unit. The Movie is a series of poufs and sofas for lobbies and lounges. The modules can be linked together and combined in every possible way.

19 UB The Installation Free Mobile Projection Hub, incorporating Connecto Pro Image has been turned and casts the image onto a screen instead of the fixed frame screen on the wall to the right. In the picture, the leaves on the table have been folded up so that the table fits between the Movie seating modules. The distance between the projector and projection surface determines the size of the image. Therefore, you can easily adjust the picture size to the occasion by rolling the table forwards or backwards. Flexibility is one of the major advantages of the Connecto Pro Image. As the technical development in projection is very fast we ve made it very easy to upgrade. You can easily switch the projector if you want a higher resolution or brightness, and you can just as easily switch to other sockets in the connection compartment when new connections and connection technologies are launched.

Distance meetings Distance meetings until now. The phone as a business tool has been around a long time and has been used extensively for all kinds of contacts and meetings. Participants in a teleconference can either sit each one individually, or can sit together as a group and via a speaker or conference telephone be in contact with other groups or individuals. Nowadays data networks are often used for telephone conferences. This to allow participants to exchange documents during the meeting. The difference between the teleconference, videoconference, and web meetings is thus becomíng smaller. Videoconferencing means that you have added a moving image of the counterparty / counterparties in the meeting. Today there are solutions that are very user friendly and reliable. They are called codecs and are hardware devices. They use different ways to communicate with each other. These are ISDN (H320) (old), IP (H.323) or IP (SIP). The codecs are connected in different ways to cameras and displays. They are then controlled by means of a remote control or a control system. The most exclusive videoconference is called telepresence and gives a greater sense of presence. A telepresence system tries as far as possible to simulate an actual meeting with, among other things, a specially designed environment, complete with furniture and screens where the counterparty is shown in actual size. Another variant is the software solutions of various types. They are usually more challenging for users to manage, and of course more unstable when installed on Mac or PC computers with other software using hardwareand network resources. Generally they are cheaper and have considerably poorer quality than hardware solutions. The quality usually being very dependent on the camera and the computer s performance.

21 Distance meetings today and tomorrow Web conferencing as a cloud service enables meetings with moving images via the Internet. There are numerous cloud solutions for this in the market. Web conferencing works in a manner so that several people can talk simultaneously with each other (via computer, phone or tablet, video or a combination of them all). thorough needs analysis of the practical working methods and then optimize the different parts. Download the client free of charge or run the service directly in the browser on the device you already have. It works just as well with a phone, tablet, computer, or whatever device you choose.
