3 Vendor Requirements for All Rooms: The vendor is responsible for all miscellaneous items, including patch cables, rack mounting accessories, and parts not listed in the required hardware list. All video wiring must be installed with shielded, plenum rated CAT6 or better. If a data connection is not at the necessary location the vendor is responsible to pull the proper data wiring to match the existing network infrastructure, and naming convention. All Extron equipment will be connected to the existing network, allowing for mobile device control. Vendors are expected to provide full system wiring diagrams with equipment serial numbers. 2

4 Room: Meeting Room 91 Video Distribution: There will be five full swing arm mounted 75 LED HDTV controllable displays throughout the room capable of showing any room inputs. There will be an additional zone in the community room for meeting over flow that will have an Epson short throw projector shining onto an 87 SMART board. Additionally, the community room short throw projector will have a local wall plate with a 35 HDMI and USB that is only viewable on the projector in the community room. The USB cable is for SMART board interactivity. There will be a matrix switcher located in the equipment rack that will distribute video signals to each output device via shielded twisted pair. There will be two HDMI input wall plates that will transport the video signal back to the switcher via shielded twisted pair. A Barco Clickshare wireless presentation will be mounted behind the closest display to the front of the room. The video signal from the Clickshare will be sent back to the Matrix switcher via shielded twisted pair. There will be a dedicated PC that will live in the equipment rack provided by Newtown Township. A 12 meter USB extender will run back into the ceiling of the main room to extend the signal for a wireless keyboard and mouse. Vendors are responsible for all miscellaneous patch cables. A brightsign digital signage player will be installed on the library wall mounted projector. Audio Distribution: There will be twelve Shure Microflex wireless boundary microphones and two Shure Microflex hand held microphones for in-room sound reinforcement and audio recording of meetings. The microphones will transmit wirelessly to two Shure Access point transceivers mounted in the room. The microphone audio will be sent to an in-rack Extron digital signal processor via a Dante network that will be setup for the room. The DSP will feed a QSC amplifier which will power twelve 4.5" Coaxial in-ceiling loudspeakers. There will be two audio zones that can be combined or act independently. One in the main meeting room and the other in the community room overflow area. The DSP will also send audio to a Denon network recorder that will be configured to save the recording files to a network storage space. For ADA compliance, there will be a Williams Sound FM assistive listening system installed for the hearing impaired. Control: There will be a 7 wall mounted Extron touch panel located in the main room. This touch panel will power off and on each display and control the independent source selection of each display. It will control audio volume levels, audio zone selection, and audio recording. There will be a 5 wall mounted Extron touch panel located in the community room section of the room. This touch panel will power off and on the wall mounted projector and control the source selection. This panel will also control volume for the speakers in that zone. 3

6 Room: Hard Interview Rooms 129 and 131 Outputs The goal of the interview rooms is to capture both audio and video to a reliable recording source. Both rooms will have a Shure hanging microphone in the ceiling, and one camera securely mounted in the designated corner for optimal video capture. An Extron touch panel with a USB port for additional recording will be mounted outside of the interview room. All devices will be connected to an Extron recording device that will be stored in records 114. A wall mounted cabinet will be installed, and used for housing the recording devices, distribution amps, surge protectors, POE adapters, and pre-amps. Interview Room Feeds will be wired using all shielded CAT6 Plenum rated wiring. Installers will be responsible for configuring all devices to the network, and configuration of the Extron SMP 351 recording configuration. Vendors are responsible for all miscellaneous patch cables. 7 111 (Chief Lunn s Office) A 50 LED HDTV display will be mounted on the designated wall with a Chief tilting mount kit. This display will have a total of five inputs connected to the display, and will require an Extron brand HDMI switcher. The switcher will be controlled via an Extron MLC controller (installed on designated wall). The inputs for this display are listed below, and the only requirement for this section of the proposal is an in-room HDMI connection terminated into a wall plate at the user s desk for extended desktop purposes. Three Extron RX devices will also be part of this room to receive the feed of the interview rooms, and security cameras. Vendors are responsible for all miscellaneous patch cables. 8 Room 122 (Conference Room) The Goal of Room 122 is to create an easy to use reliable video and audio conferencing room. This room will have an Extron Cable Cubby located in the table for easy user connectivity. The cables will consist of HDMI, VGA w/3.5 audio, and electrical outlets with USB charging ports. All wiring will be terminated at the in-room credenza provided by the vendor. The credenza will be a 2 bay setup with half for AV, and the other half for basic storage. The credenza will be used to house an in-room PC supplied by Newtown Township (this will be where the USB from the interactive projector and Vaddio USB 3.0 camera will be connected), surge protector, scaler switcher, POE switch, Audio conferencing system and other miscellaneous in room equipment. Vendors are responsible for all miscellaneous patch cables. Vendor is responsible programming and commissioning of all installed equipment. Displays This conference room will have a main display utilizing a 75 LED HDTV. This display will be mounted at the designated location provided by Newtown Township. We will utilize one input on this display. All switching will take place at the IN1608. Audio A total of four ceiling mounted speakers will be installed, and connected to the Extron scaler/switcher with the built-in amp. The volume will be controlled using the Extron touch panel. Two ceiling mounted microphones will be installed at the best location for audio and video calls. Conferencing Conference room 122 will have the ability to make audio calls by adapting to the current VOIP infrastructure. Vendor shall install 2 hanging microphones, and speakers in this room for making these calls. The backend equipment will be a Clearone Converge Pro 2, and all calls will be dialed utilizing the Extron touch panel. All video calls will be made utilizing a Vaddio Conference Shot 10 PTZ camera. This camera will be connected to the in room OSE PC. End user will utilize SAS for these calls. All user inputs will be installed in a cable cubby at the table. Vendors will be responsible for installing the cubby. A template must be provided prior to the install for the furniture manufacturer to make the cutout. The cable cubby will have power with USB, data, VGA 3.5 and HDMI. All other devices will live in the credenza/rack in the room. 7

10 Rooms 139 Processing Room 139 will have a 40"LED HDTV mounted to the wall via medium tilt mount. The built-in speakers from the display will be used for room audio. The display will be connected to a wall mounted PC provided by Newtown Township to be used in remote arraignments. Mounted on top of the display will be a Logitech webcam and microphone combination. The webcam will be connected to the PC via USB cable. Vendor is responsible programming and commissioning of all installed equipment. 1. 11 Room 147 (Conference Room) Conference Room 147 will have a wall mounted, controllable 75 display. Mounted on the wall behind the display will be a dedicated room PC provided by Newtown Township. Also, mounted behind the display will be an Extron four input HDMI switchers to allow for remote viewing of the two interview room camera feeds and the building NVR. The remote video feeds will require HDMI over twisted pair receivers. The built-in speakers from the display will be used for room audio. An HDMI cable will run from the display and terminated into a wall plate for an additional input into the system. A 5 touch panel will be installed on the wall to control the power of the display, volume control, and input selection. Vendors are responsible for all miscellaneous patch cables. Vendors will install an HDMI wall plate, and assume the use of 35 HDMI cable. Vendors are responsible for all miscellaneous patch cables. 14 Room 218 (Conference Room) The Goal of Room 218 is to create an easy to use reliable video and audio conferencing system. This room will have an Extron Cable Cubby located in the table for easy user connectivity. The cables will consist of HDMI, VGA w/3.5 audio, and electrical outlets with USB charging ports. This display will be connected to the rack where the cable box will be stored, and all control will take place utilizing the touch panel. Audio A total of 4 ceiling mounted speakers will be installed, and connected to the Epson scaler/switcher with the built-in amp. The volume will be controlled using the Extron touch panel. Conferencing Conference room 218 will have the ability to make audio calls utilizing the existing VOIP phone system. Vendor will install two hanging microphones, and speakers in this room for making these calls. The backend equipment will be a Clearone Converge Pro 2, and all calls will be dialed utilizing the Extron touch panel. All video calls will be made utilizing a Vaddio Conference Shot 10 PTZ camera. 16 Rooms 085A, 108, 204 (Signage Systems for Lobby) Library Display Vendors will be responsible for installing a 50 LED HDTV display in the designated waiting areas. The display will be securely mounted to the wall, and will be connected to the signage player that will be mounted behind the display. Vendors will also be responsible for pulling data from the display to the network closet. Vendors are not responsible for content creation, but will be responsible for configuring the players on the network, and installing management software. Vendors are responsible for all miscellaneous patch cables. Vendor is responsible programming and commissioning of all installed equipment. In the Library the vendor will use the existing display however all the other wiring and hardware will be provided.
