Press P to exit programming mode. I5 is the copy of I3 READING A FINGERPRINT 1- Put the finger on the reader when the yellow pilot lights flicker 2- The print has been read when the yellow pilot lights stop flickering 3- If the red lights come on, the print is not being read well. Reposition the finger IF YOU LOSE OR FORGET YOUR MASTER ODE, THIS OPERATION ALLOWS YOU TO ENTER THE PROGRAM AND INPUT A NEW ONE: 1) Disconnect the power supply and wait 5 seconds, 2) Put the programming bridge in the low position P 3) Reconnect the power supply (BEEP, BEEP, BEEP), 4) Put the programming bridge in the high position N, the yellow light comes on, 5) Press key 0 then 000, 6) Key in the master code you want (1 to 8 digits), 7) Validate the operation with key A 8) Press key P to exit programming. 2 AUTOMOUS MODE -WIEGAND - If fingerprints have not been programmed, BIOMAT works as a reader or simple keypad. - When a correct identification is made (with or without print), the keypad code or TAG is sent via the Wiegand output and the corresponding relay is activated. - In integrated mode, when relay 1 is activated relay 2 goes to ON LOK MODE: In LOK mode, by connecting the contact of a clock to the BP terminals of the circuit. In other words, if this contact closes, the first 150 users will be cancelled... As soon as this contact is open again, everything returns to normal. INTEGRATED MODE: operates the door and the alarm at the same time. Installation: - Relay 1: door - Relay 2: alarm unit Operation: - To open, key in user 001 to To close, mark the el integrated code on the keypad, then present user 001 to 150 (30 seconds to do this) FORED DOOR MODE: If the door contact is opened and relay 1 is not active, an alert will be triggered by activating relay 2 Wire up a door detector at the GT input. MAXIMUM OPENING TIME: If the door stays open longer than the programmed time, relay 2 switches. Wire up a door detector at the GT input. The time is indicated in tenths of seconds. 003=30 s. Max seconds WIEGAND FORMAT The entered codes are complemented with a 0 to the left, until 8 digits are completed and converted to hexadecimals. Example: 1234 code keypad at (000004D2H) is stored in the memory in Wiegand mode. In Wiegand mode, the 3 bytes with less weight are sent as hexadecimals. ELA MODE - To enter system programming mode, switch off the power supply before accessing via the P-N bridge (see Emergency Procedure ) - If no fingerprints have been programmed, BIOMAT functions as a reader or an ELA keypad. - During user programming, BIOMAT cannot communicate with the ELA unit and peripheral error will be shown. FORED DOOR MODE contact wired in the door input GT. The input ratio is executed in IN1. Program by putting parameter P to 1 on the PERIPHERALS menu of the unit. MAXIMUM OPENING TIME: If the door stays open longer than the programmed time, the entry list is executed in IN2 Wire up a door detector at input GT. Max seconds DEGRADED MODE - When a correct identifiction is made (with or withourt fingerprint), the keypad code or TAG is sent via the ELA output, but if the unit does not respond and degraded mode is programmed the corresponding relay will be activitated without an order from the unit, provided that the user in question is in the local memory of BIOMAT). The degraded mode is activated after 10 s of ininterrupted BUS. SAFETY BLOK After 5 wrong codes. The entry list is executed at IN5. The reader will also block for 5 minutes. Relay 1 can be activated with the NA pushbutton (wired at the BP pushbutton input) ELA FORMAT The keypad codes and TAGs are directly stored in hexadecimals. Example: 1234 keypad code => (1234FFFFH) is stored in the memory in ELA mode ATTENTION!: odes programmed in ELA mode will not work in AUTOMOUS-WIEGAND mode PROGRAMMING A PERIPHERAL The ID number cannot be programmed from the unit if ELA mode is not in use. The power supply should not be cut off. 1) Put the programming bridge in the low position (P). The yellow light flickers. 2) Put the programming bridge in position N, the yellow light stays on. 3) Program the operating parameters of the peripheral from the central unit. TE: You have a maximum of 4 minutes to do this. The yellow light goes out at the end of the process. TE: A peripheral will only work if it is programmed. 4 DISASSEMBLY INSTRUTIONS ASSEMBLY INSTRUTIONS SURFAE INSTALLATION : 1- Mark the points using the metal case 2- Drill the 4 holes 3- Screw in the metal case 4- Assemble the back, front and frame of the reader 5- Introduce and screw in the reader to its metal case EMBEDDED INSTALLATION : 1- Mark the points with the help of the template 2- Drill the 2 holes 3- ut perimeter of back of reader 4- Go 3 cm into the wall 5- Assemble the back, front and reader frame 6- Put the reader on the wall and drill it in The keypad can be hidden by the cover This is advisable when users are identified by proximity TAGs The keypad is kept for programming purposes.

6 FINGERPRINT PROGRAMMING All the prints are not valid por the identification. The white cuts, wounds, points, skin too dry or lines (minucies) too fine, make difficult the reading orrect fingerprints Not recommended fingerprints To ensure good readings, the finger should be clean and dry. Keep the finger in a good position without moving it for sufficient time. orrect finger posiition Incorrect finger positions For a user with a good fingerprint, programming by single reading will be sufficient. Triple reading allows a more efficient reading of the fingerprint and reduces the level of rejects (in the case of injured or 'defective' fingers). Users have the option of programming up to 3 different fingerprints (through single or triple reading), but if an user does not have a fingerprint in good condition the programming of the same fingerprint can be repeated at a slightly inclined angled to improve identification. After programming the fingerprints, check the identification several times to ensure that no rejects occur. If the identification is still difficult, reprogram the fingerprint or use another finger. The fingerprint sensor should be kept clean and dry. To do this, use a fine and clean cloth dampened in alcohol or water. To dry the surface well, use a fine and clean cloth.
