2 BXB Four Products Won 2017 Taiwan Excellence Award for Fifth Consecutive Years! Writer/ VP Office BXB President Penny Wu and Vice president Jerry Hung participated in the 25th Taiwan Excellence Awarding ceremony on Feb. 15th. BXB registered 4 products and all are chosen from the 1155 competitor s products. It is also our pleasure to win the prize fifth years continuously. ICP-5072 Graphical control software is the winner of software that hardly awarded as software, which means BXB s soft power has been recognized!

Have established for 26 years, BXB continuously works on product technique and brand marketing in order to provide a high integration and customized solution. BXB s winners this year are all products of ICP-5000 IP-based Audio and Video Broadcasting and Smart Management, the representative of entering the field of IoT and smart management. The system keeps up with the international trend, upgrading traditional broadcasting voice to video and multi-channel broadcasting. ICP-5000 system integration and the combination of hardware and software can be applied to a wider and more flexible extent. We include VoIP and IoT so that the system can be operated to set and carry out emergency evacuation, disaster prevention alarm, audio and video intercom, security surveillance system, and fixed time scheduling to reach smart management efficiently. BXB s comprehensive integration can include following functions: 1) Achieve multi-channel audio & video broadcasting At the same time, ICP-5000 can transmit 8-CH Full-HD messages to the maximum of 999 receivers. The broadcasting modes include silent broadcasting (only display image and text), mix broadcasting (audio and text at the same time), and video broadcasting. All modes of messages can be displayed on the LED screen and electronic bulletin. 2) Schedule arrangement and auto-broadcasting without manual control It is inconvenient and takes much time to get to the control room for broadcasting. ICP-5000 can be used for time announcement, routine broadcasting, and special event promotion. Daily, weekly, monthly, even yearly schedule can be set beforehand. Setting not to play during holidays in order not to disturb residents nearby is also feasible. 3) Support telephone broadcasting You can use ordinary telephone or extension one to have remote-

4 control telephone broadcasting. Moreover, in order to spread information more quickly, connecting to fixed line (such as Chunghwa Telecom) can be applied with telephone or mobile phone doing remote-control audio broadcasting. 4) Support mobile Commanding via APP Except directly dialing to do mobile phone broadcasting, you can also have WiFi streaming remotecontrol broadcasting via WiFi. Besides, you can also type text on the mobile phone, and system will instantly convert text into TTS broadcasting. 5) Protect personal safety as the mission Emergency call and door security: When facing dangers, you can press emergency call button to send back the message to response center. Administrator can monitor and hinder the suspect immediately. Surveillance system: Computers, tablets and smartphones are all available for remote connection to have real-time surveillance. You don t need to assign anybody to stand by all the time. Two-way video intercommunication: People can directly call for assistance from the site. Administrator can have intercom with people on-site directly and give the best solution. And he or she can guide efficiently and doesn t need to go back and forth.

5 6) Instant and automatic earthquake warning function Once the Central Weather Bureau releases earthquake warning message, it will trigger PA system to provide citizens emergency response. 7) All-zone environmental control reaches green energy and energy saving ICP-5000 can be the switch of electrical appliance, such as TV, projectors, fans, CATV selection, and volume control to have once and complete management. Moreover, working with central control software to count time can produce frequency of use statistics and upload it to cloud to get rid of manual operation. Furthermore, ambient conditions such as air quality, environmental temperature and humidity, noise can also be analyzed to build database to have alert for abnormal environment. 6 BXB Launched IP-Based PA System and Smart Management at ISE 2017 Writer/ Dept. of Sales 3 Integrated System Europe (ISE), the largest exhibition in Europe, taking place at the RAI Amsterdam on 7 to 10 February. As usual, BXB participated this international event and introduced the latest ICP-5000 IP-based Audio & Video Broadcasting System and Q.con Video Conferencing Solution with distributors, dealers and SI from more than 70 countries all over the world. ICP-5000 series adopts main controller of network architecture to work with decoder enables control sources such as videos, images and sound simultaneously. Text broadcasting TTS (Text to Speech) technology and electronic bulletin are also supported to have multi-media broadcasting. Apart from the versatile addressing ways, emergency call and security system facilitate instant replies, control everything happens at scene and hinder suspects via intercom function. With network architecture, PA system can connect with conference system and integrated with surveillance system. Monitor screen can be sent to the meeting room and transmit to specific area via instant audio and video broadcasting. To meet the needs of modern business, BXB launches Q.con (Quick-connected) video conferencing solution. Q.con s camera supports HD720P and image auto-tracking, which solves the problem of display lag and low resolution. When having a video conference, use CAT5E cable to connect with BXB microphone can experience clear image and excellent sound quality. Q.con s installation is user-friendly. Just use USB cable connecting with your PC directly to hold a basic video conferencing. There s no extra driver required for the system. In addition, user can have meetings via existing video software.

FUN series won if Design Award 2016 from Germany and G-Mark Award 2016 from Japan, one of the representative design award in Asia. The core value of Good Design focuses on not only design, but also efficiency. FUN series is equipped with voice-activation function can precisely detect speaker s voice without being affected by the nearby noise and applause. The second microphone that we displayed at ISE 2017 is UFO series that won if Design Award 2015 too, which is also highly favored by both regular and new customers. Mr. Deshpande from India expressed the appearance of UFO series is stylish and the easy installation is appropriate for conference activities. 9 UFO-2100 Conference System Installation- Sinotrans & CSC Headquarters Writer/ Dept. of Sales 2 The latest installation report in China, we are going to introduce is the new office building of Sinotrans & CSC Holdings Co. Ltd., located at Chaoyang District, Beijing City and surrounded by Olympic Green, Olympic Sports and Ruins of The Yuan Dynasty. Sinotrans & CSC is the leading international forwarding agent, air and sea forwarder and international express agent, and the second shipping agency. Besides, they are also one of the top 3 carriers and the top shipping company in China. Sinotrans & CSC have high requirements for the quality and appearance of equipment, and are also demanding of sound quality. BXB is honored to be selected among numerous brands and are successfully installed in the office building. The project is designed and planned by BXB s sole distributor in China, Beijing Litron Ltd. They chose UFO-2100 flush-mounted conference microphone, featured simple aluminum panel, which saves the maximum available space for attendees and makes table look neat and equipments more endurable.

11 BXB UFO-2100 conference system provides various modes built-in. User can have 1-30 delegate units randomly choose Normal, Chairman, Override and FIFO mode simultaneously. Moreover, pressing chairman button for 3 seconds can trigger Chairman mode. You can directly change conference mode on-site instead of setting from the main control unit. The feature facilitates user to manage the whole conference process more conveniently. Each microphone unit is equipped with 2 sets of RJ-45 port. You can connect by CAT5e cables with daisy-chain, parallel, and starry connections to meet different requirements, which is considerably flexible. Moreover, ring-connection enables backup mechanism. During the ring connection if any microphone is out of operation, the other microphones can still remain working from the other loop; the meeting can keep going smoothly and let users feel comforted!

12 FCS-6300 Conference System Installation-Taichung Home Economics and Commercial High School Writer/ Dept. of Sales 1 This month, we are going to introduce the installation in Taichung Municipal Taichung Home Economics and Commercial High School. Being one of the country s highest quality vocational high schools, they establish Department of Early Childhood Development and Education, Fashion Trends, Business Affairs, Accounting Affairs, Data Processing, Applied Foreign Languages, International Trade, and Special Education. BXB is honored to have FCS-6350 installed in the International Conference Hall accommodating 216 seats, which is a considerable conference hall among high schools. It adopts universal available CAT5e cable, a high-level technology of conference system, which provides excellent and clear sound quality that makes participants have great meeting experiences. Main control unit is equipped with four RJ-45 jacks with the independent wiring protection device maintaining the stability of the system. Moreover, to keep the system working appropriately during meetings, FCS-6350 has back-up mechanism, the ring connection. When one microphone is broken or a circuit is damaged, you can just take it away. No circuit-replacement or PASS signal should be operated, and the system can still keep other microphones working normally, which helps maintain a conference s smoothness. Main control unit FCS-6350 is equipped with many operation modes (chairman/ override/ FIFO/ push-to-talk/ voice activation/ auto-off). In addition, built-in TCP/IP protocol enables administrator use computer and mobile devices via wired or wireless signal to connect with the controller directly. BXB also has web browser interface for the setting of conference modes and appointing any delegates to talk. Besides, working with FCS-6370 Graphical Control Software facilitates the changing of conference mode. User can choose to turn specific unit on and off, allow mutual communication, set each unit s ID number and camera position, control the volume input and output of the main control unit, and so on. Installed flush-mounted conference microphone FCS-6321/6322 has stylish aluminum extrusion panel, thin front and circular back make it looks fine and high quality, and it smoothly embedded in the table. Each microphone unit has a built-in DSP chip performing outstanding auto-gain control and excellent sound quality. Furthermore, when the microphone is on, it would also not be interfered by 3G and 4G phone even though its distance with microphone is close with 15cm. The quality of meeting smoothness can be perfectly assured.
