Vislink s V-Net products provide crystal clear images from your air support unit direct to command personnel. V-Net s advanced technology allows aircraft to operate over a wide geographic area while ground based receiver sites are automatically selected to consistently deliver the best possible imagery. THE WIDE AREA RECEIVE NETWORK SOLUTION Vislink s customized Wide Area Receive Network Solution removes the complexity of a multi-site system by automating the receive site switching process to ensure an uninterrupted, real time high quality video from the aircraft to field personnel who need it most. The HDR-5000 is the ideal choice for receiving surveillance video in command vans, tactical communications vehicles, remote and central command sites for law enforcement, public safety, homeland security, and defense applications. This solution was designed specifically to leverage the customer s existing IP network. HDR-5000 diversity receivers are installed at fixed strategic sites to receive identical signals aircraft s airborne video transmitter as it passes through the network s coverage area. Each receiver sends video data via IP to the network operating center for viewing. Together with the VMS-1100 Video Media Server, the real time encrypted video securely streams to field edge devices, such as smartphones and tablets, allowing tactical response teams to work more efficiently. The HDR-5000 Receiver setup and configuration can be accomplished either locally or remotely via its web browser based GUI. Standard digital decryption modes are available for receiving secure transmissions.
