2 Dear Neighbor, Message from John Venditto Town Supervisor The Town of Oyster Bay Distinguished Artists Concert series will, once again, offer a diverse season of musical and dance programs, which will kick off in October. Whether your taste runs from opera, jazz, dance, cabaret, pop or classical, there is something for everyone. The concert season begins on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the with Eranga and Prianga- A Program of International Songs. The concert series continues through Sunday, May 21, 2017 culminating with a performance from Jeff Krick- The Essential Elvis Tribute. This season s lineup also includes Mambo Loco- Old School Latin Music, Vintage Bliss homage to Sinatra Duets, Bobby Darin and the Great Ladies of Jazz, Glenn Sings Glen- Tribute to Glen Campbell, Rave On! singing the songs of Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly, Micheal Castaldo- Classical Crossover Tenor, The Fabulaires- Doo Wop at its Best and Fiddler s Green- A Concert of Traditional Irish songs, just to name a few. My fellow Town Board members and I are proud to provide residents with the very finest cultural and performing arts entertainment, all free of charge and held at conveniently located local libraries.
