Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent's doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancées, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves. Auditions: August 3-4 7:00 pm 1120 Caroline St.

More than thirty years later, these Southern friends-for-life are still determined to honor that vow. Hop on this marriage-go-round for a laugh-out-loud journey with these beleaguered bridesmaids as they navigate the choppy waters of love and matrimony. If you ve ever elbowed a stranger out of the way to catch a bride s bouquet, seriously questioned the mental stability of the duo saying I do, or been forced to wear the world s ugliest bridesmaid dress, this deliriously funny JONES HOPE WOOTEN COM- EDY is definitely for you and your dearly beloved! As the performers try to pay their respects to the old-fashioned soap operas, westerns, and detective shows of the past, on-set rivalries and clashing egos threaten to spiral the entire production out of control. The hapless hosts of the show struggle to keep their cast in line as their show goes on the air live, all the time facing the specter of the grimmest fate of all: cancellation! Blake M. Petit is a writer, columnist, reviewer, podcaster, actor, director, and teacher from Ama, Louisiana.
