3 Come Hear the Pea Ie Sin :: :: THE FEDERAL WAY CHORALE 3 Dear Friends of the Federal Way Chorale, Thankyou for being here this evening and for your continued support throughout the year. We started the season with a wo'1derfulconcert highlighted by the Bach Magnificat which was wellreceived and was held to high critical acclaim. Next, we focused our efforts on a music festival with the Northwest Repertory Singers in an effort to extend our collaboration throughout the PacificNorthwest region. Thefestival was wellreceived and we earned high praise for our participation from the other groups as well as from the audience. Most recently, our collaboration with the Federal Way Symphony on the Beethoven 9th was one of the most galvanizing community events for the future of the artistic community in Federal Way.It has been a glorious year - very busy, artistically challenging and a wonderful experience for me as wellas for the Chorale. I am very excited about the future of this organization and its growth potential. Today we willbe re-visiting the beautiful octavos we performed at the festival and willinclude an originalpiece from our Assistant Artistic Director, Brian Soushek. Theconcert willculminate with highlights from the great musical, Les Les Miserables. This concert willbe another testament of the wonderful growth of the Chorale. This season, we have gone from the extremes of the acappella stylings of traditional choral music to the gut busting singing of the Beethoven 9th and finally, to the musical theater with Lee Les Miserables. It has been quite a challengingyear for the Chorale and they have risen to the occasions admirably and with great success. I hope you willcontinue to be involved with us as friends and our supporters and look forward to another great season next year. But for now we willfinish up this year with you with highlights of this great musical and hope that you enjoy every moment. Thank you again.
