The cable entry system is a combination of cable entry frame and captive split inserts. The extraordinary advantage for all kinds of applications is the consequential split of the system, which enables a retro-fit of pre-fabricated cables and wires. Especially suitable for the following applications: measuringservo-, computer-cables and bus-systems. The KEL-System is available in two sizes. perfect, simple assembly cost-effective Patent Cables with different diameters can be installed using the captive split inserts. Both a high protection to IP 54 and strain relief are achieved through correct selection of inserts depending on cable diameter. A gasket (included in packing) between frame and surface of the cabinet provides a seal and balances roughness. 6 KEL-SNAP - snap frame -KEL-systems can be assembled very quick with KEL-SNAP, no tool needed! KEL-SNAP-system is available in three sizes: type B4 (cut-out size mm) type 6 (drilling template for 6-pole connectors) type 24 (drilling template for 24-pole connectors) Instead of 35 mm, width of the cut-out can also be chosen 46 mm. Thus pre-fabricated heavy connectors can be used with our KEL-system. Advantages of the KEL-SNAP-system: During disassembly (e.g. maintenance) screwing on and unscrewing of KEL-frame is not applicable. KEL-SNAP-system features integrated sealings on both sides. 8 suiat ble inserts on pages 2 and 3 KVT-SNAP split cable glands quick and simple assembly, no tool needed applicable on existing female threads size of opening up to 55 mm - available in three sizes KVT-SNAP was developed to install pre-fabricated cables/conduits (screws and tools not needed) through thick walls (>5mm) e.g. into cast junction boxes. After cutting an adequate metric female thread (M/M40 or M63) into the wall of the cast junction box the snap-ring is simply screwed into the thread. The completely equipped cable gland is then pushed into the snap-ring. The snap-ring also can be fastened using a locknut e.g. on the wall of a control cabinet with wall thickness up to 5mm.For disassembly only a screwdriver is necessary! 13 KDR2 - split base plates 2-part base plate with ready-made cutouts for our cable entry systems KEL and KEL-Jumbo. Fixing holes are equipped with clinch nuts. During assembly, almost the whole base of the enclosure can be used for installation of cables. Even large connectors can be installed without difficulty. Retro-fitting possible without disconnecting of cables. All can be built around the cables. No production downtimes! No more sheet metal work for the user, the major task can be focused on. Cut-outs, which are no longer required, are covered with metal blind plates BP24metal (order # page 6). The base plate is available for all prevalent enclosures (e.g. Rittal TS8). gaskets After the cable entry frames are built up both plate-parts are pushed together. The frame-parts with inserts have to be built up before final assembly. 15 KDR cable entry system flexible - simple - perfect The KDR cable entry system is a perfect system for installation and sealing of pre-fabricated cables. The frame system is mounted into the control panel and is sealed by putting the sheet metals together. Subsequent alteration of the number of cables or of the cable diameters is very simple. The KDR-frame system is used, where a multiplicity of cables has to be installed, e.g. on cabinets, walls of machine tools, control panels..., flexible for bottom-, cover- and side walls. Pat. pend. system idea: switch cabinet - movable sheet metal - frame The system is suitable for all switch- and control cabinets. These cut-outs, as well as the drilling template, conform to the standard cut-outs for 24-pole heavy connectors. All flanged plates are RAL 70 or RAL 7035 powder-coated. Please use the gaskets of the standard plates! These gaskets are an integral part of AE and KL deliveries. Advantages: No extra sheet metal work is required. 23 KEL-AD cap for attachment housings QT - Quick insert (page 22) KEL-adapter for attachment housings can be snapped onto attachment housings for heavy connectors. It is available in size 6 (-pole heavy connectors) and 24 and has two bore holes with a diameter of mm and, in addition, in size 24 one hole with 20mm diameter. The parts can be equipped with KEL-DP (when using non pre-assembled cables) or with KEL-QTA (when using pre-fabricated cables). In size 24 KEL-QTE can be used in addition. KEL-QTE offers one cable entry for non pre-assembled cables and one slotted entry for pre-fabricated cables.
