VH Fibre Optics Cabinet and Patch Panel solutions caters for most space saving applications to benefit our customers. HIGH DENSITY OPTICAL DISTRIBUTION Central Optical Distribution Frames are an essential part of any Data Centre /Headend. VH Fibre Optics modernized ODFs provide dedicated cable management spaces which are easy to re-configure making it fast and simple. FIBRE OPTIC PATCH PANELS VH Fibre Optics specialize in optical distribution panels for Data Cabinet Distribution, high density panels can be supplied with up to 96 fibres per Rack Unit. Supplied with a range of connector types for both single mode and multimode fibre, which can be factory fitted or supplied as a kit.

11 FIBRE OPTIC PATCH PANELS VH Fibre offers a low cost plastic 1U PSP splice and patch shelf designed for data market applications. The shelf allows the connection of up to 48 fibres on each unit and is compatible with 19 and ETSI racks. Light weight and easy to install with built in fibre management Can be supplied Empty, in kit format, or with the pigtails and adapters pre-installed. SLACK STORAGE MODULE VH Fibre Optics offers a Patchcord Storage Shelf Unit is a 1U shelf used for the storage of patchcords or the storage of patchcords over length. The shelf can be installed in to 19 / ETSI / ANSI racks, street side or wall mounted cabinets. The product consists of a metal chassis and a plastic light weight module. The product has a capacity of up to 48 patchcords in a 1U unit. CABLE ANCHOR The BEM Cable Clamp is used to anchor a single cable and to distribute up to 16 cable elements (192 fibres). The BEM is suitable for cables between 36 and 192 fibres and is supplied with 20 meters of routing tube is supplied with the BEM. The BEM allows for the anchoring / termination of both the cable strength member and any Aramid with in the cable construction.

VH Fibre Optics offers scalable Distribution Hubs to accommodate next generation access networks. FIBRE HUB STREET CABINET AND CONNECTIVITY SOLUTIONS Fibre Hubs vary in size and construction, VH Fibre Optics solutions can house both Passive infrastructure and active transmission hubs which are modular and scalable. FTTx FIBRE DISTRIBUTION HUB Fibre Distribution Hubs [FDH s] are a critical element of the network and with extensive infrastructure in place, it is clear that this will be one of the most cost effective delivery methods for FTTP. 17 DROP & PREMISES MULTI DWELLING UNIT [MDU s] VH Fibre Optics supply the products for Multi- Service FTTP rollouts, enabling next generation media content with unrivalled Broadband speeds. MDU CENTRAL DISTRIBUTION ENCLOSURES VH Fibre Optics central distribution Hubs for MDU s, ranging from Splice only Hubs to connectorized solutions are supplied in a range of configurations. All MDU s are fully compatible with blown fibre as a distribution unit along with the use of most other cable configurations. MDU CABLE SOLUTIONS Specifically designed for bringing optical fibre directly to residents of high-rise apartments and offices, VH Fibre Optics offers the VertiCasa product solutions allowing remarkably easy fibre access and break-out, reducing the demand for skilled labour and installation time and cost. The VertiCasa system provides a fast and flexible means of connecting users in an MDU (Multi Dwelling Unit).

19 PRE-TERMINATED EXTERNAL BOXES The Pre-terminated Compact Termination Box is designed for use in residential and business applications. For ease of Installation, the wall box is supplied on a cardboard reel with a length of internal / external cable pre-installed in the factory. SMALL JOINT CLOSURES The SJC Closure is a splice closure that is used for track or branch applications.. CUSTOMER LEAD IN UNITS Our Customer Lead In Unit manages the bend radius of cables or BF tube when passed through the wall by connecting[with a conduit] two separate units mounted either side of wall.

20 VERTICASA BREAKOUT ENCLOSURES The VertiCasa Breakout Units is typically used in multi dwelling units to breakout and distribute the fibres from an in-line VertiCasa cable into a drop tube, for routing to a customer premise. BOUNDARY WALL BOXES [BWB] The Boundary Wall Box is a termination point, installed as outside plant on walls and fences in the FTTx network. The Boundary Wall Box [BWB] can be used as a demarcation point segregating the customer drop from the network, thus creating flexibility to test and pinpoint faults without having to access the customer s premises. The BWB is also available in IP68 for underground applications.

21 DROP & PREMISES SINGLE DWELLING UNIT [SDU s] VH Fibre have been instrumental in developing resilient and fast connection methodologies, successfully deploying direct burial, buried, blown and overhead Aerial Drop. POLE MOUNT FIBRE DISTIBURION BOXES The Medium Multi Function Joint (MMJ) is for jointing optical fibre cables and is ideal for use as a Cable Chamber Joint, Track Joint, Spur Joint or Distribution Joint due to its capacity and compact size. DROP CABLES VH Fibre Optics drop cables offer a fast plug and go way to connect to aerial distribution boxes and Underground distribution points. The cable is High Tensile strength, crush resistant and UV stable. The unique construction allows the cable to be installed aerially as it is self supporting. So drops from poles can be deployed with minimal fuss.

22 POLE MOUNTED DROP BOX The Customer Pole Mounted Drop Box is designed for use on poles to distribute drop cables to multiple homes. CUSTOMER PREMISES Fibre MANAGEMENT Exposed cables on customer premises when running along walls and through walls are always a risk. To minimize this cable exposure there are a number of products available. Protective wall lead-ins and cable capping for the customer entry point are seen as essential to take away impact and snagging risks. CUSTOMER OUTLET BOXES Discrete and compact user outlets have been designed for internal fibre demarcation and can simply be fixed to any wall.

VH Fibre Optics offers various cable construction types to suit varying applications to fit, direct bury, duct cable, blown mini cable and even mid span extractable cable. EASY INSTALL MANHOLES/HANDHOLES VH Fibre Optics Manholes/Hand Holes offers ease of assembly and installation which are light weight and easy to handle when installation takes place. It is a space saver when shipping or transporting. No curing is required as opposed to traditional concrete manholes. The Manholes/Handholes can be quickly deployed and is cheaper than concrete manholes. 25 FTTX LOOP DOME JOINT VH Fibre Optics FTTx Loop Dome Joint is a versatile splice enclosure deployed in FTTx networks and incorporates mid-span access, loop storage and a patch plate for preterminated drop cable. The FTTx Loop Dome Joint was designed to reduce preparation time significantly and in turn increases the deployment volume. AERIAL SLACK BIN VH Fibre Optics offers a Aerial Slack Bin which is a pole mounted enclosure to conceal aerial cable slack. The Bin is designed to also safely secure the cable even once the lid has been opened, making it safer for the technician to work with at heights.

The unique RetractaNetˣˢ Cable, filled with smaller fibre modules, runs from the Optical Distribution Point, through trenches that can be cut and retracted from one point to another. It s then fed or blown directly to the customer premises. Advantages: Reduces installation time and costs Ideal for existing or new duct infrastructures. 28 RetractaNetˣˢ UDERGROUND Back to Slide 21 RETRACTANETˣˢ CABLE SYSTEM As a complete direct buried underground drop solution, RetractaNetˣˢ is fast, flexible, reliable and user-friendly; combining fully integrated connectivity products and innovative tools. The unique RetractaNetˣˢ cable, filled with smaller fibre modules, runs from the Optical Distribution Point, through trenches that can be cut and retracted from one point to another. It s then fed or blown directly to the customer premises. TAPPING BOXES The Tapping Box is used to distribute the fibres from an in-line RetractaNetˣˢ cable into drop cables, for routing to a customer premises. It is UV resistant and sealed up to IP68, enabling it to be mounted in the outdoor environment. It has the capacity to accommodate an in-line cable of up to 18mm in diameter. The closure can provide the facility to accommodate fusion splices. CABLE END SEALS The RetractaNetˣˢ cable end mechanical seal is used on RetractaNetˣˢ cable ends to provide water tightness and tension relief at the point of a splice closure entry port. The RetractaNetˣˢ fibre modules are enclosed in a rubber sealing block. By means of a piece of flexible tube and two hose clamps the seal is connected to the RetractaNetˣˢ cable. 30 VertiCasa Designed specifically for bringing optical fibre directly to residents of high-rise apartments and offices, the heart of the VertiCasa system features a new concept in optical cable construction allowing remarkably easy fibre access and break-out, reducing the demand for skilled labour and installation time and cost. The VertiCasa system provides a fast and flexible means of connecting users in a Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU). The system comprises a main riser cable of up to 96 fibres, which can be branched directly to individual subscribers on different floors of the MDU without the need for the splicing of fibre within the riser of the building. 31 VertiCasa INDOOR VERTICASA CABLE SYSTEM The VertiCasa system provides a fast and flexible means of connecting users in a Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU). The system comprises a main riser cable of up to 96 fibres, which can be branched directly to individual subscribers on different floors of the MDU without the need for the splicing of fibre within the riser of the building. Fibres are extracted from breakout windows cut into the main cable which allows the required length of protected easystrip fibre to be routed directly from the main body of the cable through to the end user. BREAKOUT UNITS The VertiCasa Breakout Unit 1 & 4 Port is typically used in multi dwelling units to breakout and distribute the fibres from an in-line VertiCasa cable into drop tubes, for routing to a customer premise. It has the capacity to accommodate VertiCasa cables of up to 15mm in diameter. It enables a window to be cut in the cable to access the fibres, which can be spurred of into drop tubes of 5mm in diameter. It comes in a 1 Port and 4 Port configuration. RISER BOXES The Riser Box Multi Tray (RBMT) is designed for use within apartment blocks and mid/high rise office blocks. The unit houses either eight splice trays, or 4 splice trays and a module storage area. Each splice tray is able to accommodate 8 fibre splices. An in-line cable entry port enables the box to be installed onto an in-line riser cable and up to 24 drop ports are available for drop cables of up to 5mm in diameter.

32 VertiCasa INDOOR MECHANICAL SPLICE HOLDER CABLE PROTECTION COVER VERTICASA STORAGE BOX The VertiCasa Mechanical Splice Holder (MSH) is mainly used for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU s) or office fibre cabling system s. The unit is suitable for splicing together up to 2 fibres (either small cables or VertiCasa ESFU s). Both heat shrink and mechanical splices can be used with the MSH. Cables of up to 6mm in diameter can be accommodated. The VertiCasa Cable Protection Cover is typically used in multi dwelling units or office fibre cabling systems. It is used to cover and protect the window cut in a VertiCasa cable. The unit can accommodate VertiCasa cables of up to 15mm in diameter. The Unit manufactured from fire resistant material to UL94-V0 and is Low-Smoke and Zero Halogen. The VertiCasa Storage Box is used to coil and store over-lengths of VertiCasa fibre modules. The box can be used at the top of a vertical riser cable or on the end of a horizontal cable run. The box has a single cable entry for cables of up to 15mm in diameter. The box can be supplied configured for either internal or external use and can accommodate up to 225 meters of 900 micron fibre modules.
