4 Display Description This year, the American Library Association will celebrate Banned Books Week September 21 st - 27 th. Cooper Library is also celebrating Banned Book Week with Banned Book Readings in the lobby on Wednesday, September 24 th from 1:30-3:30, and with a month-long Banned and Challenged Book display. The display is located on the far right side of the New Books Shelf and each item chosen for the display has a label listing why the book is frequently challenged or banned.
