6 Cinquain Poetry A description of a cinquain poem is it has five lines each line follows a pattern. It has three format they are Line 1-one word Line 2-two words that describe the subject of the title. Onomatopoeia The use of a word whose sound makes you think of its meaning as in buzz, gushy, swish, zigzag or chirp. 16
