5 Questions 22 Read the story below and then answer the questions that follow. Once upon a time, there was a shepherd-boy named Joey. Every morning, he would take his flock of sheep to the field. He would sit under a tree while waiting for the sheep to eat. One day, as Joey was watching over the sheep eating in the field, he felt bored. He thought of an idea. Help! Help! A wolf is eating my sheep! he cried out loudly. A few men who were passing by the field heard Joey s cries. They rushed to the field to help him. When they reached the field. Joey laughed at them. Ha! Ha! Ha! I ve tricked you! There s no wolf, Joey said as he laughed. The men walked away angrily. For the next few days, Joey continued to cry for help. Every time the villagers came to the field to help, Joey would laughed at them. Finally, the villagers decided to ignore the shepherdboy. One day, a wolf really came. Joey was shocked and he cried for help. Unfortunately, no one came to help him. They thought he was just playing tricks on them like before. Joey was sad as the wolf ate his sheep.
