2 Biography 2 of 6 Peter Eastgate Born in Queensland in 1968,Peter now lives in Sydney Australia and is an Award winning. Peter s love for both the still and moving image came through spending several years as a lighting technician and Camera Assistant in both the Feature Film and Television Commercials arena. Travelling the world as a first A/C with many acclaimed DOP s, Peter soon acquired the skills necessary to launch himself as a Director of Photography in early His recent Photographic accomplishments include two short films, Deeper than Yesterday which has just been awarded official selection in the 2011 Sundance Film Festival USA as well as the Cannes Critics Week Discovery Award for a Short Film and the Cannes Critics Week Petit Rail d Or (Audience award) at the Cannes 2010 International Film Festival and Feud which Peter wrote and Directed. Both films have been selected for Film Festivals all over the world.
