4 CAST BIOS ROBERT FACIO (DIRECTOR/WISE GUY) has worked in the theatre as an actor, director, and casting director. As an actor, he performed most recently at JPAS in Funny Girl (Nick Arnstein), Sister Act (Curtis Jackson), and Avenue Q (Rod/Trekkie) which earned him a Big Easy nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, and served as assistant director to Mary Poppins the Musical this past Spring. Other productions include his guest artist performance in NOCCA s production of Heathers The Musical (Ram s Dad), his Best Leading Actor in a Musical Big Easy award winning performance as Ash in Evil Dead: The Musical, and Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew. As a casting director he has produced several productions through the LA Shorts Fest and the NoHo Arts Center in Los Angeles. This marks Robert s directorial debut with JPAS. Robert is a MFA graduate from the University of New Orleans, and works as a Talented Theatre teacher in St. Tammany Parish. He would like to thank his parents for their neverending support, Eva for her unwavering guidance, and his beautiful funny girl and new fiancé, Caleigh Alessi, for teaching him how to love again. BOB MURRELL (WISE GUY) is a comedian, writer, and improviser from New Orleans. Bob is a cast member of Brown Improv, Drunktoons, and a company member of See Em On Stage. Past JPAS credits: Murder at Cafe Noir, The Drowsy Chaperone, A History of Comedy (writer, performer), Spelling Bee (Coneybear), Shrek (Big Bad Wolf), 42nd Street (Mac). Thanks to Robert, Kris, Erin and the crew, and Abbey for having to put up with me during the holidays. lolbob.com KRISTOPHER LLOYD SHAW (WISE GUY) was most recently seen on the JPAS stage as Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. He also worked with JPAS as director of Sister Act and Mary Poppins last season. Recent work include the roles of Colonel Bouvier and Norman Vincent Peale in Southern Reps Grey Gardens, the King in The King and I with the River Region Drama Guild. At JPAS, Kris has been seen as Wilbur Turnblatt in Hairspray and directed JPAS s production of The Sound of Music. Other regional roles include Baker in Wonderful Town, Herbie in Gypsy, Clem in The Will Rogers Follies, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as Mr. Twimble and Wally Wompers, and as Albin in La Cage Aux Folles with SLT. Off-B way work includes The Red Mill, The Mikado, Patience, The Vagabond King (Cherry Lane Theatre), Babes in Toyland (74th Street Playhouse) and Give My Regards to Broadway (Playhouse91). Favorite regional credits include Emcee in Cabaret with JPAS and at the Casino Magic and the direction of a concert version of Ragtime (Le Petit), as well as As Bees In Honey Drown (Le Chat Noir); Priests No More (Dramarama); The King and I (River Regional Drama Guild); Falssettos (Le Petit); Anything Goes, which won a Big Easy Entertainment Award, Sylvia and Something s Afoot (Rivertown Repertory Theatre). Kristopher s television credits include commercials for House of Secrets, Campo, Total Sleep Diagnostics, Safe Home Security Systems and Bank One. He has also been in the films Cypress Edge, Rocky II, and HeartBeat. Mr. Shaw has a BA in Theatre, and studied acting in New York with Clyde Vincent and Michael Shurtleff, voice with Aaron Hagin and Anthony Michalik and movement with M. E. Bishop.
