Concession Stand For your convenience (and as a fundraising opportunity), concessions will be provided during the intermission. Please take the opportunity to stretch your legs and support Parkway North Theatre, future productions and our International Thespian Society (ITS), Troupe Mark your calendars with these North, Performing Arts events: Acapella Explosion, December 3rd Masterworks Choir Concert, December 10th Band Concert, December 11th Poetry Out Loud, January 12th. 7:00 pm. 2 The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney Produced through Special Arrangement with Dramatists Play Service Inc. The Dining Room was first produced Off-Broadway By Playwrights Horizons in This play takes place in a dining room or rather, many dining rooms. This space is a room all of us have spent time in at one time or another under any number of circumstances. Do we use these spaces on a consistent basis and for something other than special occasions? More often than not the dining room is more of a temple to formal dining etiquette or a storage room. This has not always been the case. Here we have a series of stories that focus on how the American family has used the dining room through the years. The young actors you see this evening will depict a wide range of characters, situations and studies in human nature. The spotlight shines on OUR star! ADAM CASTEEL Congratulations on past performances, and good luck on future projects. LA is calling! Love, Mom, Dad, and Matt Thank you in advance for attending our first production of the school year. The cast and crew have put in many hours creating, evaluating, analyzing and making choices that fit the script and the author s intention. We hope you enjoy yourselves. This performance may not be suitable for all ages.
3 To Codith the Great: Oh Snap! Another year, another play! We are so proud of you and your opening night. We hope that this is the beginning of your career in Hollywood! Your future is so bright, we all gotta wear shades. Oh, and please remember us during your Oscar acceptance speech. Oh, and break a leg. It's okay, we have insurance. Love, Mom, Dad, Robert, Laylah, and the dog you will never get! :P Joshua, We are so proud of you! Love Mom & Ken. P.S. Break-a-leg Timing for Tonight s performance: Act 1: 50 Minutes Intermission: 15 Minutes Act 2: 40 Minutes Performances for the Hearing Impaired: At Parkway North we want to do everything in our power to make the fine and performing arts available to everyone. To assist in these efforts the Parkway North Theatre Department will have interpreters for the hearing impaired each Friday evening of our performances. If you are in need of these services and are here on a Friday evening please contact an usher and they will be happy to help you with appropriate seating to take advantage of this opportunity. Tots Eat Canned Food Drive The results are in and Parkway North collected 1,200 lbs of canned items during our annual Tots Eat campaign to help local food pantries and families. Next year our goal for the October event, that ends on Halloween, is 3,000 lbs. We will be doing another such event in March or April so keep your eyes peeled for information on how you can support our efforts and help those less fortunate.

Megan Wasielewski- Wasie has been doing theatre most of her life, both in the community and school. At North, she was an evil stepsister in Cinderella and Mimi the Mime in the one-act performance of Check Please. This is her first show as a techie and she s so excited to be behind the scenes to help out with this show! Amanda Horton (Stage Manager) - is a senior. This is the fifth show at North and her first show as stage manager. She is cohistorian of ITS and is directing a one-act next semester. Balancing theatre with sports and schoolwork, Jodi has had no free time, but for her, it is perfect. Tanner Douglas (Construction Crew Master Carpenter) - has been involved in North s theatre for three years now. He would like to thank his parents and friends for supporting him the last three years in theatre. He would also like to thank the construction crew for The Dining Room for their great work. Michael Insley-Nelson (Program Design) - is a senior. This is only one of about four or five productions he has been involved in. This play will be his first time doing the art for the show. All other times he has been with the tech crew creating the sets. When his time here is done, he s going to pursue an education in media and graphic design and hopefully do it for a living.
