1 58 years of excellence in community theatre THE MOUSETRAP written by AGATHA CHRISTIE directed by LISE LINDENBERG April 8 24, 2010 Pinnacle Playhouse Belleville, Ontario
2 CAST in order of appearance ACTOR ROLE Synopsis of Scenes Corrie Allan MOLLIE RALSTON Ian Feltham GILES RALSTON Tanner Rogalsky CHRISTOPHER WREN Pat Gray MRS. BOYLE Bill Petch MAJOR METCALF Nicole Black MISS CASEWELL Tom Hartke MR. PARAVICINI Alex Tucker SERGEANT TROTTER Act 1 Scene one The Great Hall at Monkswell Manor. Late afternoon. Scene two The same. The following day after lunch. 20 minute intermission Act 2 Scene one The same. Ten minutes later. Time Winter 1953 Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc. The Mousetrap from the director The characters in this play by Agatha Christie, the master of mystery, carefully reveal clues about themselves a little at a time and tension builds as we begin to wonder about the eight people we meet. As the events progress, we realize that these characters are hiding something. They must be. The Mousetrap conviently brings together apparent strangers in a out-of-the-way guest house. Why are they there? Do they know each other? Who is telling the truth? Who can we trust? Follow the clues to the ultimate and thrilling conclusion. Here s hoping you enjoy the wild ride to the finish. And remember once you have seen the play, you can never reveal the secret to anyone; this is one secret you cannot share! Lise Lindenberg Acknowledgements City of Belleville, The Quinte Arts Council, Sheild Media, Quinte Broadcasting, Starboard Communications, The Intelligencer, Community Press, Loyalist College, Funk & Gruven A-Z, Culligan The Good Water Company, Tipper Financial Services, Boretski Gallery, Bernard Interiors, Duncan Cooper, and of course, all the families and friends of the production team.
