Crafted by Masters Trumpet Flugelhorn Tenorhorn Baritone Euphonium Tuba Trombone Live the Perfection!
Sounds new, yet familiar. The credo from Miraphone. How does one rise above expectations while remaining true to ones heritage and style? It is actually quite simple, in that one must continually set new standards without sacrificing tradition. The future relies heavily on the past. Choosing a brass instrument from Miraphone indicates a clear commitment to perfect worlds of sound. The musician has high expectations for his or her instrument - whether it be for work or for play. 2

Information and data may be subject to errors and alterations.
Bb Trumpet 11 4 The wide scaled Miraphone Bb trumpet 11 is the choice for soloists and orchestra musicians who desire a large volume of sound. Compared to the classic Miraphone model 9R, the 11 is equipped with a wider bell and larger bore size, resulting in a fuller sound and excellent projection. The Bb trumpet 11 boasts a centered tone and wonderful response throughout. The clear German sound and the pure intonation round out the overall positive impression.
Bb Flugelhorn 24R 5 A warm, rich and clear sound makes the Miraphone flugelhorn 24R an excellent multipurpose instrument, ideally suited for symphony orchestra, wind band and ensemble playing. The uniform counterclockwise rotation of the rotary valves on this instrument allows for perfect legatostyle playing with all fingering combinations. The homogenous and light response is secured through a specially developed taper, which also results in exceptional intonation in all registers.
Bb Tenorhorn 47WL4 Edition (Loimayr Model) 6 At first glance, one can already see that this Edition model 47WL4 is something really special. The distinct construction of this instrument creates a light response and superb intonation throughout the range. The uniform counterclockwise rotation of the rotary valves allow for a soft and clean legato style with all fingering combinations. The free-floating leadpipe and a bell, which is completely handmade from a single sheet of brass, gives the Bb tenorhorn 47WL4 Edition its traditional warm and full sound.
Bb Baritone 54L Edition (Loimayr Model) 7 The exclusive Bb baritone 54L Edition is a dream come true for all baritone players. This baritone is stereotypically German, with a sound, which is full and rich in overtones as a direct result of the handmade bell, formed from a single sheet of brass, and a free-floating leadpipe. The higher positioning of the leadpipe allows the player a more relaxed and ergonomic playing position. A specially designed taper as well as the re-positioning of the tuning slide favors a direct response and excellent intonation in all registers.
Bb Euphonium M5000 Ambassador (compensated) 8 The M5000 Bb euphonium boasts a large volume of sound that remains clear and centered. A practically perfect intonation in all registers is due to the distinguished and well-established compensation system. The response is exceptionally light and comfortable both in high and low ranges. The 3rd valve slide is positioned closer to the 1st branch for optimal and ergonomic operation of the 4th valve. The M5000 euphonium is not only suited for the symphonic band realm, but is a viable alternative for the brass band scene as well.
Bb Euphonium M5050 Ambassador Edition (compensated) 9 The Bb euphonium M5050 Ambassador Edition with its exclusive trimmings belongs, without the shadow of a doubt, to the upper echelon of the euphonium class, possessing a wonderful rich and clear tone with impeccable intonation. The shorter mouthpiece receiver, made from heavier material, eliminates any loss of the player s air power on the way into the instrument. Concentrated air flow generates a gain in the projection potential of the euphonium as well as a tight, non-spreading sound throughout the dynamic spectrum. A reinforced bottom bow and first branch with the special protection cap results in the instrument having more stability and a more focused sound.
Bb Tuba Hagen 496 (5/4 Size) 10 The Hagen Bb tuba series by Miraphone consists, as the name suggests, of Germanic style models in all aspects. The goal set by our designers was to attain a typical German Bb tuba sound, regardless of the actual size of the instrument. The Hagen 496 shines with balanced intonation and excellent response in all registers and boasts flexibility and unique playability. The completely newly conceived body credits the Hagen 496 Bb tuba with an outstanding sound and makes it a multipurpose choice for symphony orchestra, wind band, as well as various larger ensembles.
Bb Tuba Hagen 497 (6/4 Size) 11 As with its smaller sister 496, the Hagen 497 plays with balanced intonation, superb response in all registers and a maximum of playability-comfort. This wide-bore, 6/4 size tuba with rotary valves is ideal for any situation, where a very large volume of sound is required. The tone produced by the new Bb tubas from the Miraphone Hagen series is, independently from the size of the instrument, exactly as one would expect: dark, warm, full and core-centered.
Bb Tuba 1291 (5/4 Size) 12 The Bb tuba 1291 by Miraphone is superb for large ensembles and big stages. Major concert halls are no match for the efficient sound projection of this 5/4 size tuba. With its large bore the Bb tuba 1291 possesses an even and light response, even at a pianissimo dynamic, maintaining excellent intonation in all registers. Particularly in the lower range, the sound is extremely open and centered. The free-floating leadpipe supports the voluminous, clear and focused sound. The smooth and quick action of the piston valves allow for precision and perfect handling.
F Tuba 1281 Petruschka (5/4 Size) 13 The F tuba 1281 Petruschka is a real multi-talent, easily lending itself to participation in every ensemble and offering all a tuba player could hope for, even large orchestra settings. Despite its lean figure, the Petruschka produces a symphonic tone quality with enormous sound-carrying potential due to the large bore size of the piston valve section. Ergonomic proportions and a total height of only 85 cm (33,4 inches) allow for easy playability. For the soloist, this model is a dream leaving no wishes unfulfilled.
F Tuba 281 Firebird (5/4 Size) 14 Thanks to its immense projection, the focused center and clarity of its F tuba sound and the large potential of rich volume, the Firebird 281 F tuba is an excellent choice for both soloists and orchestra musicians. The lean and compact body of the Firebird relates to what one would expect of a German F tuba. However, this model has a conical taper with a widening valve bore, specially developed to give a more direct and easy response. The free-floating leadpipe and the hand-hammered bell grants the Firebird its unique tone color.
F Tuba 481 Elektra (5/4 Size) 15 With the new Elektra, Miraphone has developed an F tuba that, due to its flexibility and versatility, has earned enthusiasm from soloists, symphony orchestras as well as from concert bands. The Elektra 481 embodies a centered, core-focused sound that remains unchanged at fortissimo as well as pianissimo. Obvious progress compared to its competitors has been made with the intonation of this F tuba. The unique design is such, that additional trigger and alternate fingerings are virtually no longer necessary for consistent pitch. The Elektra maintains an even and constant tone color with all fingering combinations. The tubist is now free to concentrate completely and undistractedly on the musical aspects of a performance.
Eb Tuba 383 Starlight (4/4 Size) 16 The Eb 383 Starlight tuba is equally perfect for brass ensembles, orchestras or for the solo performance. The cylindrical valve section of the Starlight with an 18 mm (0,709 inch) bore diameter ensures a crystal clear articulation in all registers and allows for ease and flexibility of sound control. Having the ability to master all performance situations with precision and success makes the Starlight 383 Eb tuba a brilliant choice for the professional musician.
Eb Tuba 283 Norwegian Star (5/4 Size) 17 The Eb tuba 283 Norwegian Star impresses with its versatility as a professional instrument for the orchestra musician as well as for members of chamber groups and wind bands. The newly developed body taper and the bell with a diameter of 400 mm (15,748 inches) provides a full and even sound in all registers. This Eb tuba can easily replace a C tuba in smaller or middle-sized orchestras. A very even and constant response through the entire dynamic spectrum is made possible through the intentional selection of shape and taper of the leadpipe. The brilliant and rich sound is persistent from the most strident of fortissimos to the subtlest of pianissimos.
Eb Tuba M7050 Ambassador (5/4 Size) 18 With the M7050, Miraphone has crafted an Eb tuba that is especially designed for the specific needs of the brass band arena. Miraphone has already secured a prominent position for this model in the brass band scene. As a member of the Ambassador family the M7050 earns its points with its voluminous sound, while still allowing an ease of control. The Eb tuba M7050 Ambassador exhibits ergonomic handling and first class response and intonation in all registers.
C Tuba 1292 New Yorker (5/4 Size) 19 Miraphone s bestseller in the world of C tubas is the 1292 New Yorker, which has gained great popularity and impeccable reputation particularly in the English-speaking realm. Easy control throughout the entire dynamic spectrum and an even sound in all registers is what the C tuba 1292 New Yorker delivers, granting it entry into numerous major orchestras, filling renowned concert halls with its huge sound. The quick response in combination with the outstanding intonation gives the tubist the security needed to navigate the most difficult passages and makes playing an enjoyable experience.
C Tuba 291 Bruckner (5/4 Size) 20 The CC tuba 291 Bruckner was planned and developed to be a consequent rotary complement to the 1291/1292 series of Miraphone CC tubas. The Bruckner connects the traditional sound of German contrabass tubas in BBb with the popular characteristics of the CC key wished for by the brass sections of international orchestras. The clear, full sound and instant response, coupled with a healthy portion of acoustic feedback to the player, sets the 5/4 CC tuba model 291 Bruckner apart from all current American style CC contrabass tubas.
Bb Tenor Slide Trombone M6500 Gran Symphonic (wide, quart valve, large, open wrap) 21 The Bb tenor slide trombone M6500 Gran Symphonic produces a dark, mellow sound, and the natural tones sit very nicely. Throughout the entire dynamic spectrum as well as in all registers, this instrument is easily and comfortably controlled. Equipped with a specially designed quart valve, the Gran Symphonic offers a remarkable sound projection. The response behavior gives the brass player the security to successfully master even the most difficult passages whether it be in wind band or in symphony orchestra. The three exchangeable leadpipes, as well as the optionally available yellow brass slide, confront the player with the attractive possibility to realize an optimally individual sound concept.
Whoever considers his own work art, is captured by it throughout. Until the forties of the last century the center of brass Quality is a Value that Transcends Time 22 instrument manufacturing was Graslitz in Northern Czechoslovakia. The instruments coming from this area soon became famous all over the world with export being of utmost importance. The end of World War II brought a sudden end to 150 successful years worth of instrument-making in Graslitz. The instrument makers were then scattered all over the world. Some of the Graslitz fugitives found their way to Bavaria, Germany. Thirteen instrument makers founded the Manufacturing Cooperative of Graslitz Instrument Makers Ltd. in Waldkraiburg in They had only a few tools in their possession and began with the repair of brass instruments. Eventually they combined their rich and vast knowledge and began to make their own instruments under the new brand name Miraphone. This was the beginning of a very successful
