After capturing exceptional notices in the Met s HD transmission of Otello opposite Renée Fleming this season, he will return to the Met in for a new production of Die Fledermaus. He comes to Washington on the heels of performing Oberon in Britten s A Midsummer Night s Dream at the Metropolitan Opera, a signature portrayal that has bewitched audiences in London and Houston.
