December December December December Decem Hamilton Square station refurbishment Hamilton Square station is currently undergoing a 4 million refurbishment programme undertaken and funded by Network Rail. The benefits will include improved platform and tunnel areas with new flooring, brighter lighting and improved passenger information. The station (pictured right) is closed until Spring Trains are continuing to run through the station but are not stopping there. Rail replacement buses, running from Hamilton Square to Birkenhead Central and Conway Park, are operating throughout the closure. The work at Hamilton Square is part of a station improvement project that has already seen refurbishments of, and stations. For further information, visit merseyrail.org/lovehamiltonsquare.
