REQUIRED Vandoren reeds Music stores carry many brands of reeds. We highly advise this particular brand. Reeds are essential to clarinet playing and we require students to have four at all times. The average life span of a reed is 1-1/2 months. Any 1 binder and pencil pouch will suffice. (May purchase binder or pouch individually, please specify) REQUIRED Hodge silk clarinet swab This swab will save pads from rotting and is recommended to use daily after playing. Cork grease* This grease allows the instrument to be put together properly without damaging the cork. Music stores will provide this with your rental. One tube can last for the entire school year.
