Possibility of connecting Car-PCs and/or similar video sources. Controlling sources with the original touch- and/or hardkey functions. Connection is made per USB.

4 7 8 The connection to the terminal (laptop, tablet) is made through the DVI (HDMI) port at the video interface and the USB port at the interface. Installation Guide Multimedia Playback If you want to mirror multiple devices on your display, you have to connect another interface and cable wiring in a row. For connection of two display-connections cable bridge from PIN 2 to PIN 6 cable bridge without resistance = Master, cablebridge with resistance = Slave Connect cable set in series

6 Operation By pressing the MEDIA button longer (approx. 3 sec.) you turn on the video display. The display resolution is limited to 800x480. Therefore this format must be set on the terminal device (laptop, tablet).

7 The left control panel side maintains its functions. The surface of the connected terminal device (laptop, tablet) is mirrored on the vehicle display. You can control your terminal device through the display per touch function or with the right control panel side. MEDIA: Activation of mirroring the terminal display to the original display (MEDIA) NAV: short = ESC abort function long = Alt+F4 1x closes running programs 2x shuts down terminal device TRAFFIC & CAR: Alt+Tab switch between running programs MENU: Open menu in terminal device (e.g. windows menu) Turn = right / left Turn & Push = up / down Push = confirm

8 Warranty Conditions speedsignal GmbH guarantees within the legal deadline of 2 years from the original date of purchase that this product is free from defects in material and workmanship as long as this product was installed similar to our installati-on guide. If repairs of processing errors or malfunctions of this product are necessary within the warranty period, speedsig-nal will repair the product or replace it with a flawless product. To be able to assert the benefit of these provisions, you need the proof of purchase. Warranty claim and operating license lapses: unauthorized changes on the device or accessory self-initiated repairs at the device improper use or operation violent impacts to the device (fall down, wanton destruction, accident, etc.) For installation please notice all safety and legal regulations. When installing electronic assemblies into vehicles please note the installation guidelines and warranty conditions of the vehicle manufacturer. In any case you have to inform the principal (vehicle owner) about the installation of this interface and about all risks.
