2 The new PDMA Corporate Identity system consists of three main elements 1 The PDMA BrandMark/Logo 2 The new PDMA Name Signature 3 The new PDMA tagline Connecting Innovators Worldwide Our purpose is to establish and maintain a consistent Brand Identity and to promote a positive association with the PDMA brand. The proper use of the standards will enhance the recognition of the PDMA name and through their consistent application will further increase our recognition and the value of our brand. By following these few guidelines carefully, you will help assure that we present a consistent and positive image in all our communications, internal and external. The Name/Brandmark exists as an eps file (encapsulated postscript) where the sizes, proportions, letterspacing and relationships are fixed and pre-determined; these files cannot be opened, only placed in documents. Ink colors: Pantone Matching System (PMS) coated and uncoated paper: 4-color process/ coated and uncoated: Green: PMS 382C Blue: PMS 3005C Green: 29c 0m 100y 0k Blue: 100c 34m 0y 2k The Pantone Matching System is designed to maintain consistent color from paper to paper and printer to printer. However, color matching PMS colors to four-color process colors may not be exact, either between coated and uncoated papers or between print runs or between printers. 2

3 The most common usage shall be in the 3-color version, where the Name is Black and the Logo is Green/Blue (PMS 382/PMS 3005). There are currently five logo versions. 1 3-color version Filenames: pdma_pms382_3005wtag.eps 2 1-color version Filenames: pdma_k_screen_wtag.eps 3 4-color version reversed out Filenames: pdma_k_screen_wtag.eps 4 1-color version reversed out Filenames: pdma_k_screen_rev_wtag.eps 5 4-color version with TM and SM Note: This version is only to be used when a TM and SM are required. Filenames: pdma_cmyktm_sm.eps Files are created in PMS versions and 4C versions. 4C refers to four-color process, 4C versions are as close a match to PMS as possible. PMS logos are preferred and should be used if possible. 3

4 3-color vesion Logo: Green/PMS 382 Font: A special modified version of Barmeno. Candara is the official font for all future modifications of the PDMA logo. Calibri is the official font for all official PDMA documents. 5 When using the chapter/affiliate name with the logo follow the guidelines below for correct size and placement. The tagline should be removed and the font Candara should be used for the chapter/affiliate name. Chapter/Affiliate Name 5

6 Sub-Brand Logos When using a sub-brand with the logo follow the guidelines below for correct size and placement. The tagline should be removed and the font Candara should be used for the chapter/affiliate name. Certification Annual Conference Webcast Series 6

7 These are the official corporate logos. 1 With tagline: Connecting Innovators Worldwide 2 No tagline The logo should be used as a single unit. The logotype should never be used alone, but should always have the logomark. The signature or logotype should never be used separately. Do not rearrange or stack the logomark, logotype and tagline. Do not change the colors of the logo or logotype. 7

8 Do not blur, tilt or skew the logo. Do not place logo on a background or backgrounds with confliciting colors. White is the recommended background. 8

9 Typography Logo Font: A special modified version of Barmeno. Tagline Font: Candara Chapter Name under the PDMA logo: Candara Corporate Materials, PDMA documents, presentations: Calibri. Arial may also be substituted if Calibri is not available. 9
