3 The designer who loves challenges T-line springs from the synergetic meeting of Francesco Trabucco s ingenious pencil and Bitron Video s Research & Development office Francesco Trabucco Professor of industrial design at the Milan Polytechnic, architect and designer, Francesco Trabucco has won many international awards, including Compasso d Oro, IF Die Gute Industrieform and INTEL. His designs feature in the permanent collections of important museums, such as the New York Moma and the Modern Art Museum of Munich. In 1997, aiming to introduce a radical innovation in his over a decade of professional experience, he founded FT&A, which he currently presides as chairman. Springing from the idea to organise an operative, ductile and dynamic tool within which to involve young designers with equal responsibilities, Laura Anselmi, Margherita Colleoni and Samuele Meda have successfully reaped the fruits of an enviable reputation and a prestigious customer portfolio. Their professional approach and their enthusiasm has fuel the growth and affirmation of FT&A over the years. The capacity to adapt to new technological and conceptual challenges with the necessary rapidity and the flexibility demonstrated in response to the developing and increasingly differentiated market demands have been the key for FT&A to conquer a role of relevance in the vast panorama of international industrial design in only a few years. Nearly ten years after being founded, FT&A has won many international awards and acknowledgements. The firm s clientele includes several major international companies.

4 High-tech design is extra slim The elegance and style of Bitron Video s T-line stands out for its streamline, minimal design. One of its primary strengths is the minimal protrusion from the wall achieved by using special technology and styled lines. T-line doorphones and video doorphones are available today and interesting range developments are expected in the future. A specific adapter bracket is used to adapt these devices to all system types.

But the real technological leap is in the shift from the principle of a monitor fitting system-specific electronics to a new concept in which the monitor becomes a simple unit and the brackets instead are specific and devised according to system type.
