From May until November 1961, more than 400 black and white Freedom Riders risked their lives, for simply traveling together on buses and trains as they journeyed through the Deep South. From award-winning filmmaker Stanley Nelson (Wounded Knee, Jonestown: The Life and Death of Peoples Temple, The Murder of Emmett Till) FREEDOM RIDERS is based on Raymond Arsenault's book Freedom Riders: 1961 and the Struggle for Racial Justice. The library offers a variety of materials to help you with lawn maintenance equipment repairs and, if all else fails, Consumer Reports magazine is available to help you review ratings on new Home & Yard Products as featured in the May 2011 issue. From the library website you can select to view the Small Engine Repair Reference Center under our Online Resources heading. Here you will find a listing of subjects such as All Terrain Vehicles, Generators, Marine/Boat Engines, Motorcycles, Outdoor Power Equipment, Personal Water Craft, Snowmobiles and Tractors. Select Outdoor Power Equipment to view the options for Chain Saws, Riding Lawn Mowers, Rotary Tillers, Snowthrowers, String Trimmer & Blower, Walk-Behind Mowers or Yard & Garden Tractors. When you select the category you will be able to choose the brand name and then choose the model to locate a full-text document which provides the repair information you need. We also have a walk-behind lawn mower service manual that is available to check-out for a two week period. Consumer Reports magazine is available for check-out or online using your library card.
