1 Voyager Indexes in the I-Share Environment Voyager 9.1.1, June 2015 Index codes display in the Codes column in System Administration and can be used in "command mode" searching in Voyager staff clients or WebVoyage. Index names display in the Names column in System Administration, in the "Search by" list on the Index Selection tab in the staff clients unless "staff suppressed," and on the left-most column of the Titles Index or the WebVoyage Titles Page when more than one record meets the user's search criteria. In the tables below, indexes shaded grey are invoked in the I-Share default WebVoyage and must be defined consistently across all I-Share databases. The fields searched by Keyword and Composite Indexes that are not invoked in the I-Share default WebVoyage may be modified in System Administration. (It is not possible to modify the fields searched by Left-Anchored Indexes using System Administration.) The "fields and subfields searched" in the tables below were taken from one representative I-Share database. Since it is possible to modify Keyword and Composite index definitions via System Administration, the fields and subfields listed below may not match what staff see in any one particular I Share database. Likewise, the lists of the indexes themselves in each table were taken from one representative I-Share database. Since it is possible to create new Keyword and Composite indexes via System Administration, and to rename or delete any kind of index via System Administration, the indexes listed below may not match what staff see in any one particular I-Share database.
