BIBLIOGRAPHIC SERVICES 1. 2 2 II. COPYING Copying with personal equipment is prohibited. Only documents in good shape may be copied. Documents kept in the Manuscript Department may be copied only by written permission by the Director. You must state the purpose of copying (research, publication or other). Xerox copying restored documents, old books (pre-xix c.), photo documents (pre-1960), rare manuscripts (pre-xx c.), old periodicals (pre-xx c.), hard-bound or large-format periodicals (pre- 1945) is prohibited in order to protect them from damage. These documents may be photographed, microfilmed or digitized. Telephone, fax, mail or orders are charged at an additional 30 % of the total order amount. 1. If a document is not in a condition suitable for digidtization, the price will include the preparation of the document for digitization. The price of the preparation will be calculated based on the amount of used materials and the time spent on the preparation.

5 5 3. Publishing of documents kept in the Library s holdings: 3.1. Permission to publish documents kept in the Library is granted for such objects not covered by the RL Copyright and Related Rights Law Nr. VIII-1185 of LR (new redaction ). This permission is granted by the Directorate of the Library The fee for permission to publish one document for scientific, educational, cultural and other noncommercial purposes is from 5,00 EUR to 500,00 EUR. This amount depends on the size of the document, on whether the document is to be published in whole or in parts, on the content and nature of the document The fee for permission to publish one document for commercial purposes is from 10,00 EUR to 1000,00 EUR.
