3 SHOOTS COMMERCIALS Spark Branding House, Inc. traveled to Fort De Soto to shoot a commercial featuring talent dressed in Florida sports team gear. PP+K filmed interviews of small business owners in Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Palm Harbor and Clearwater to use in a commercial for Bright House Small Business. Charcoal Films shot a commercial for Publix Holiday Gather and Share at two private residences in St. Petersburg. Bluewater Media filmed b-roll of talent working out and exercising at Frank Tack Park in Clearwater. MediaMogul Studios shot a commercial at Vinoy Park for local attorney Michael Babboni. TELEVISION NBC Peacock Productions shot several unscripted scenes and general b-roll of Sand Key Park for an episode of Unraveled on Identification Discovery. PRINT Portrait Scene Photography shot family portrait s at Fred Howard Park and The Florida Botanical Gardens. Bob Croslin Photography produced a swimsuit still photo shoot for LPGA Asia at St. Pete Beach. Jorge Alvarez Photography produced a still photo shoot for Venus Fashion, Inc. featuring women in lifestyle shots wearing beach attire and swimsuits. VIDEO Valpak filmed interviews with passersby in St. Petersburg to use in a video celebrating the company s 46 th birthday. Ground Up Films shot a non-broadcast video involving 8 10 talent walking around a sectioned-off portion of Albert Whitted Airport and The Hangar restaurant.

4 LEADS & RESPONSES Followed up on leads provided by Los Angeles liaison Susan Simms for a SyFy reality show and a FOX reality show. Discussed with Ryan Kavanaugh at Reality Media the possibility of filming Not Without Hope, starring Dwayne Johnson, here in Pinellas County. Fielded inquiry from Dax Alvarez about a nice hotel location close to the St. Petersburg Clearwater airport where he can capture business-like people using their devices in a hotel room, lobby, or hotel cafe. Ideally the airport would be visible from the hotel; however that is not a deal breaker. Assisted location manager Andreas Zachai with a request for an all-american sports bar" with a polished and refined look, not rundown, not a dive, not a biker bar for a national TV commercial for one of the major beer brands. Fielded inquiry from Jennifer Coffin from Kelby Media regarding Honeymoon Island filming permits. Fielded inquiry from David Tiberia, Producer at Bluewater Media, seeking assistance in reserving a baseball field to use as backdrop for an infomercial production. Fielded inquiry from Dan Bjerk at the US Dept. of Commerce, who called on behalf of a German reality TV show that's coming to area in October to swim with dolphins and manatees. He is working with CMA for dolphins, but is also looking for someplace in Pinellas County where swimming with manatees is allowed. Spoke to Rich Nation, who next month will be producing a no-budget film based on a TV series that he produced a few years back in the area for Christian TV (see He is currently looking for a couple locations including office space, a sorority house, and cemetery that is preferably attached to a church. He has produced over 42 films, many in Louisiana. Discussed the Viva la Madness feature film with Steve Chasman of Current Entertainment. Assisted Mildred Mattos with more location searches for an indie film being produced in the County.

5 MARKETING & OPERATIONS Discussed the possibility of producing digital content and multiple episodes of a series here in Pinellas County with Dustin Atkatz from the Golf Channel. Discussed with Ulrike Stockhausen andmassuda Kassem, co-owner and producer of Mutter&Vater Productions, the possibility of co-productions with German and European companies. Coordinated print and online ad placement with Lori Copeland at The Hollywood Reporter. Discussed possible feature film production with Paul Wilson. Met with Alex Harris and Rob Van Arlen to discuss Angels in the Neighborhood TV show coming to the area. Participated in major motion picture scout with FOX and Deep Blue Goodbye production team. Assisted location manager Guy Balson with creating neighborhood notices for large commercial production project. Assisted production manager Tessa Whitmore with permitting a large commercial shoot at Fort De Soto Park. Fielded inquiry from Bob Shackleford at 10 News who was looking for statistics and other comparative data related to Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2 for a series that he is putting together. Accompanied producer Ferris Buhler during the Miss Switzerland still photo shoot. Compiled July monthly report for TDC meeting. Edited and distributed Film Commission newsletters.
