4 Storyteller Productions to hold Auditions for The Hiding Place Storyteller Productions is pleased to present The Hiding Place, the inspiring true story of Holocaust survivor Corrie ten Boom. As a result of the WWII Nazi invasion of Holland, the ten Boom family joins the underground resistance in order to protect Jews and political prisoners from Nazi persecution. Betrayed by a fellow Dutchman, they are arrested and imprisoned as their faith in God and love for others overcomes the feelings of despair where "no pit is so deep that He is not deeper still." The Hiding Place by Timothy Gregory debuted at Chicago s Provision Theater to rave revues in Broadway Word called it A marvel of storytelling! The Chicago Tribune said it was Filled with the power of faith! And the ChicagoCritic.com declared it was A major theatrical achievement. Well worth witnessing! Storyteller Productions is pleased to present this play's Southeastern debut! Shows will be May 15, 16, 22, and 23. Auditions will be held Tuesday, March 3. Call backs will be held on Thursday, March 5. Rehearsals will typically be held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Most roles are adults; however, there are a few roles for teens and children. For a complete cast list and audition requirements, visit ga.com and click on Next on Stage. This production is a work of nonfiction. While Storyteller is committed to family friendly theater, we are also committed to theater with a purpose, and we believe there are significant lessons to be learned from the life of Corrie ten Boom. Some of the realities of the ten Boom's story, however, may not be appropriate for younger children specifically as it relates to life in a concentration camp. Parents should use their discretion when bringing children to the shows. Ticket prices range from $8 to $12 and are reserved seating. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office. Group rates will also be available in the box office at Page 4 COLONNADE NEWS L ET TER

7 Back Alley Productions invites you to the theatrical production of the classic 1960s comedy Barefoot in the Park, written by famed comic playwright Neil Simon and produced in arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. The production shows the story of Paul and Corie Bratter, two newlyweds in every sense of the word. He's a cards-to-thechest hard worker who has just landed his first job as a New York lawyer. She s a free spirit always looking for the latest adventure, regardless of how impractical it can be. Their most recent compromise is a brownstone apartment in Greenwhich Village that s too expensive and in need of serious repairs the couple can t afford. After a six-day honeymoon, matters only get worse when Paul and Corie get an unannounced visit from Corie's mother. And when Corie decides to play matchmaker between her mom and an outgoing and romancing bohemian named Victor Velasco, who lives alone in the upstairs attic, everything that can go wrong does go wrong.
