Twice per season they are also allowed the option of 6-daysprior selection. - When is the Spring Football Game? o The Spring Football Game usually takes place the second or third Saturday of April. Once the date is selected, it will be posted on HawkeyeFootball.com. Football Game Day Parking - Where do I park for the game, and how much does it cost? - Opening Time for Lots Selected University of Iowa parking lots open at 7:30 the night before all home games and all others open at 6:00 a.m. on the day of each home game. *Activities in Carver-Hawkeye Arena may require an adjustment in the opening of some parking lots. - PLEASE NOTE: There have been a few changes to game-day parking at historic Kinnick Stadium. The changes that will be implemented beginning in 2013 provide an increase in the number of parking spaces south of Kinnick Stadium for Golden Hawk members

A recreational vehicle is any vehicle that includes a rest room. 3 Campus Transportation Center - Where can I park my RV for the game, and how much does it cost? - Opening Time for Lots Selected University of Iowa parking lots open at 7:30 the night before all home games and all others open at 6:00 a.m. on the day of each home game. *Activities in Carver-Hawkeye Arena may require an adjustment in the opening of some parking lots. - Fall 2013 Parking Options for I-Club Contributors: * Season parking passes must be purchased in advance through the UI Athletics Ticket Office at a cost of $300. o Kinnick Society and Champion RV: Lots 43 North and 75 South. Limited parking is available and spaces are assigned prior to the season. o Golden Hawk RV: West section of Lot 33. o Silver Hawk RV: Lot 65 South and West edges. - Fall 2013 General Public and Visiting Team Parking Options: o Single Game RV Parking: Free RV parking and shuttle service is available from three different campus locations. Lot 71 (UI Athletics Hall of Fame), Lot 85 (Hawkeye Commuter Lot), and Lot 55 (Hancher Auditorium) o General Public Season RV Parking: Football season ticketholders can order season general parking RV passes via the Athletic Ticket Office and park on the hard surface area of Finkbine Golf Course, the Hawkeye Softball Complex, and Lower Finkbine. o Charter Bus Parking: Available parking is located along Hawkins Drive next to the Dental College Parking lot. Please stop at the designated area east of Kinnick Stadium and across from Hospital Ramp #3 to pay the $100 fee and proceed north on Hawkins Drive to the bus parking area. No tailgating space is available next to bus parking. Buses with storage decks on top are not permitted. - Utility Trailers and Pull-Behind Motor Homes/5th Wheels o Policy: Utility Trailers and pull-behind Motor Homes/5th Wheels must park in the Hawkeye Commuter lot, designated lot U on the football parking map. o Reason: Spaces in reserved lots are reserved exclusively for cars or motor homes. Even if a utility trailer or pull-behind motor home/5th wheel fits into a motor home space, it can cause tailgate parties to overflow into travel lanes causing a hazard for other vehicles and the passage of emergency vehicles. - Where and when do the shuttles to the stadium run on game day? o Several UI parking lots offer free parking and free shuttles to the game. The Hancher Auditorium parking lot shuttle will pick up in front of Clapp Hall and drop off at the bus loop on Newton Road. The Hawkeye Commuter parking lot offers free parking and free shuttle pick up at the shelter house in the lot and drop off at the bus stop on Elliott Drive east of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The UI Athletics Hall of Fame Parking Lot offers free parking and a free shuttle pick up at

4 the parking lot and drop off at the bus stop on Elliott Drive east of Carver- Hawkeye Arena. All shuttle service begins two hours prior to kickoff. Shuttles are also available from downtown Iowa City. - What lots/spots are available for handicap parking? o Parking for persons with disabilities is available in Hospital Ramp #3 and very limited space in the surface lot directly north of Kinnick Stadium. A state-issued handicapped parking placard or license plate is required to park in these areas. - Where and when does the Hawkeye Express run on game day? o Passengers on the Hawkeye Express leave the driving to the Hawkeyes and ride in luxury from parking areas conveniently located minutes off Interstate 80 near Coral Ridge Mall in nearby Coralville to the southwest corner of historic Kinnick Stadium. Parking is free and the round-trip train service costs just $12 per person with children 12 and under riding for free. Service to Kinnick Stadium - a 10-minute ride - begins 3 hours prior to kickoff. Service post-game begins at the start of the fourth quarter and continues until 90 minutes after the game. Tickets for the Hawkeye Express may be purchased in advance at the UI Athletic Ticket Office located at the north entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Tickets will also be available for purchase on game-day upon arrival at the Hawkeye Express depot. Fans can also trade one pre-paid parking pass for two Hawkeye Express tickets. The Hawkeye Express is not wheelchair accessible. On game days, patrons with disabilities restricting their mobility are invited to use the parking spaces reserved in Hospital Ramp #3 and limited space in the lot directly north of Kinnick Stadium. For more information about the Hawkeye Express call the UI Sports Marketing Office at (319) or the UI Athletics Ticket Office at IA-HAWKS. Kinnick Stadium Information - Who can I reach in case of an emergency? o Game Day Hotline: Fans can report emergencies (medical or intolerable behavior) by calling the Game Day Hotline (319) Game management staff will assist and dispatch the appropriate response to the situation. We also encourage contacting the nearest University Police, security officer or usher for assistance. Please note this phone number is only answered on game days.

5 o Game Day Text Messaging: Fans can report issues with their neighbors in the stands at Kinnick Stadium by sending a text message to UI officials requesting their need for assistance. The text should be sent to 83648, then type the word ALERT followed by the issue and the location. The text message is received by UI staffers, who will dispatch the appropriate response. Inappropriate or prank texts will be reported to the proper authorities. - How long before the game starts do the gates open for fans? o All entrance gates open 90 minutes prior to kick off. We recommend fans do not bring purses, food bags, or other items to the stadium to speed entry. Express lanes are provided for fans without items to be searched. All purses will be searched. Patrons should arrive as early as possible to avoid delays entering the stadium. o Patrons will NOT be permitted to exit and re-enter Kinnick Stadium. - Can I bring my own personal chairback? o Personal seat backs are banned inside Kinnick Stadium. o Season-long and game-by-game are available. Customer information and service booths are located near Gates A, G, H and M. - Can I bring my purse inside the stadium with me? o Only small purses (8 ½ x 11), fanny packs, binocular cases, blankets and seat cushions will be allowed into Kinnick Stadium. Patrons with infants will be permitted to bring a diaper bag. Sealed plastic water bottles (limited to one bottle) or foods (limited to a one gallon clear plastic bag) brought into the stadium are subject to inspection. Fans are discouraged from bringing allowable items into Kinnick Stadium. All items will be thoroughly inspected at specific entrance gates which will delay admittance to the stadium. Patrons are subject to search and the University reserves the right to refuse entry. - What items are prohibited (not allowed) in the stadium? o The following items are banned inside Kinnick Stadium: bags of any size, alcoholic beverages (unapproved areas), coolers, canned or bottled beverages (except sealed plastic water bottles), camelbacks, thermoses, back packs, kegs, banners and signs, personal seat backs, large lens (6 inches or more) cameras, tripods, umbrellas, strollers, noisemakers, horns, bugles, or any other disruptive device and weapons of any kind. These items should be left at your vehicle. Admission will be denied to anyone carrying any such items. Fans can utilize a bag check located in the Recreation Building to secure items not permitted in Kinnick Stadium. The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is not responsible for items left at gates and the Division of Recreational Services is not responsible for items not claimed at the bag check area. The University reserves the right to eject anyone not adhering to Kinnick Stadium policies. This includes unruly and disruptive fans.

6 - What are the alcohol policies on game day? o Policy: Tailgating that includes the responsible and lawful use of alcohol is permitted within the parameters determined by law and University rules and protocols. Fans tailgating the night immediately prior to game day on public property are reminded that the possession of an open container of beer, wine or consumption of hard liquor is prohibited by law. Law enforcement officers will ask fans to empty the container or issue a citation. On football game days only, beer and wine are allowed in UI parking areas. Patrons and ticket holders are advised that state law prohibits hard liquor consumption of possession of an opened bottle of hard liquor on public property, which includes university parking lots and ramps. Law enforcement will empty any opened, visible bottle of hard liquor and may issue a citation. The State of Iowa's minimum legal drinking age is 21. Law enforcement will stop anyone who appears to be underage transporting beer and other alcoholic beverages. If underage, a PAULA citation will be issued and all alcoholic beverages will be emptied. Beer trucks, kegs, open bars and people in possession of exorbitant amounts of alcohol will not be permitted in any UI parking area including parking ramps. Violators will be asked to leave University property immediately. Anyone in possession of an open container (including beer, wine and hard liquor) while walking/driving to University property on the public sidewalks and roads will be issued a citation and the beverage will be confiscated. Any persons who appear intoxicated will be refused entry into the stadium and are subject to arrest. Any persons who appear intoxicated or those possessing or drinking alcohol in unapproved areas of the stadium will be ejected without refund and are subject to arrest. Any alcohol discovered in unapproved areas in the stadium will be confiscated. The University reserves the right to search patrons for alcoholic beverages. For games starting at 11:00 a.m., consumption of alcoholic beverages must cease two hours after the game. All tailgating activities in University owned parking lots and ramps must end three hours after an 11:00 a.m. game. For games that begin at 2:30 p.m., consumption of alcoholic beverages must cease one hour after the game and all tailgating activities in University owned parking lots and ramps must end two hours after the game. Post-game tailgating will not be permitted at all for games that start in the evening (6:00 p.m. or later). During

7 the final hour of the post-game tailgating, fans will be asked to pack up tents, tables, chairs, grills, etc. and begin to make their exit from University parking lots and ramps. Post-game alcohol and tailgate compliance will be enforced by UI officials. The exception to this policy is that RV owners will be allowed to spend the night; however, tailgating activities will not be permitted past the designated time. Reason: In an effort to encourage an enjoyable experience for all fans attending games at Kinnick Stadium, persons who are intoxicated or who are in possession of alcohol will be removed from the stadium. - Where are ATMs located? o ATMs are located in the west concourse of Kinnick Stadium near Gate G, the north concourse near Gate I, and in the center of the south grandstand concourse near Gate A. - Where are elevators located inside Kinnick Stadium? o Fans with seating inside Paul W. Brechler Press Box are provided elevator access in Gate F and Gate D. - When does the home football team enter the stadium? o Head Coach Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Football team arrive at Kinnick Stadium approximately 2 hours before kickoff. The team enters the stadium at the south end through Gate A. - What is the smoking policy at Kinnick Stadium? o Smoking is not permitted in or around Kinnick Stadium or anywhere on University property. The "Smoke-Free Air Act" (Chapter 142D, Code of Iowa) became law in the State of Iowa on July 1, Where are the Guest Services booths located? o Customer information and service booth is located near Section 214 in the south concourse. - Where is the Lost and Found located? o Lost and Found is located at the Guest Services area in the south concourse near section 213 until one hour after the game. After this time, lost items may be claimed by calling or by inquiring in person at the UI Athletics Department Facility Manager's Office, 120 Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Iowa City, IA o Lost patrons and persons looking for lost patrons should contact University Police, security personnel, ticket takers or ushers located throughout the stadium or go to the game day headquarters for University Police located in the west concourse near Section 123.

8 Tickets - What are the general polices for Iowa season tickets? o Season Ticket Orders: Orders for season tickets will be accepted through the listed deadline. Orders postmarked after this date will be filled if tickets are available. However, there is no guarantee that the order will receive the same seats held the previous year. After an order has been processed it cannot be changed. - How do I order/renew my tickets online? o Ordering your Iowa athletic tickets online is fast, easy and secure. To purchase tickets, click HERE. Fans can also call IA-HAWKS or visit the UI Athletics Ticket Office located in the north entrance to Carver-Hawkeye Arena. - How do I contact the Iowa Athletic Ticket Office? CREDIT CARD - the season ticket holder's personal credit card number and expiration date must be written correctly on the application. SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL NON-ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS. D. PAYROLL DEDUCT - Only University of Iowa employees who are on a 50% time or greater 12-month appointment are eligible for this option. Please check the Payroll Deduction box and sign the application. To use the payroll deduct option you must return your renewal form via mail or stop by the UI Ticket Office in person as a SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS OPTION. Payroll deduction is not available online. *Note: Online orders may only be processed using Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

9 Right to Change or Cancel an Order: The Athletic Department reserves the right to cancel all or any part of an order and refund accordingly. It also reserves the right to change a seat assignment without prior notice. - Can I transfer my season ticket seats to someone else? o TICKETS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE EXCEPT BETWEEN SPOUSES - How do I improve my season ticket seats? o Improvements are based on the University of Iowa Athletic Department Priority Point System. Priority points are calculated on an individual's total athletics contributions, current gift to athletics, years of season ticket purchase, alumni status and letter-winner status. Requests should be made in writing and mailed along with the application. The ticket office will review each application requesting an improvement. With the high volume of requests received each year, it is impossible to personally consult with each patron concerning their request. We ask that you be as specific as possible when making your request for a change in seating. Additional Tickets: Please send a separate form of payment for these tickets. If tickets are available, orders will be filled using the University of Iowa Athletic Department Priority Point System. - How do I request special needs seating (wheelchair/easy access)? o Please provide any special seating needs necessary when renewing season tickets or ordering tickets. If wheelchair accessible seating is required, please note this as well. Each special seating order will be eligible for three (3) attendant seats if available. It is important to make the ticket office aware of any special seating needs each year. - Do infants need tickets? o EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF AGE MUST HAVE A TICKET FOR FOOTBALL GAMES. THIS INCLUDES INFANTS IN ARMS - What are University of Iowa Faculty Staff guidelines? o Only persons whose names appear on the budget as permanent 50% or greater will be eligible to apply for two faculty/staff tickets. If employment ends prior to the mailing of season tickets, you will be required to pay the public price in order to receive your tickets. If you choose not to pay the public price, your order will be cancelled and all payments received will be refunded. Faculty Staff ticket orders that are located in priority sections pay fifty (50) percent of the public per seat requirement unless the order has been exempted from the per seat requirements. 10 Retired faculty and staff may continue to order tickets if the individual has ordered tickets for five consecutive years prior to retirement. Please make sure the ticket office has a current mailing address. The retiree must notify the ticket office of retirement to continue to receive applications. - What do I do about lost or stolen tickets? o Duplicates for tickets lost, stolen or left at home can be obtained by calling the ticket office at IA HAWKS or by going to the main ticket windows on game day. Duplicate tickets will be issued to the ticket holder of record only. University of Iowa student tickets are not replaceable under any circumstances. Address Changes: It is the responsibility of the season ticket holder to notify the ticket office in writing of any change in address. ADDRESS CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE IN WRITING. - Can I get a refund on my ticket order? o All sales are final. Refunds and exchanges will not be issued. - What do I do if my ticket is invalid? o Tickets not purchased directly from the University of Iowa Ticket Office are not guaranteed to be valid. Persons admitted with invalid tickets may be removed from the event.
