1 Fertőd Eszterháza, 24 June 1 July, 2017 EARLY MUSIC DAYS The series of events of 33 Early Music Days hosted by Filharmonia Hungary Nonprofit Ltd. will be held between 24 June and 1 July 2017 in Fertőd Esterházy Castle where Joseph Haydn lived and composed for more than twenty years. The courses advertised here combined w h festival concerts w h the partic ation of world-renown performers provide uni e opportun y of further studies for professional musicians and music academy students. This year, the vocal and instrumental courses of the festival are centered around the famous Messiah oratory by Händel.

3 COURSE FEES AND APPLICATION Filharmonia Hungary Nonprofit Ltd. inv es applications for full and for partial s olar s w h the following cond ions: FULL SCHOLARSHIP Cond ions: A. During the preparation phase: Making videos promoting the festival as a part of the campaign B. During festival time (beyond attending the courses): Offering daily updates on Facebook as for points of interests, autobiographies, reports, videos and photos, live broadcasts Making video reports representing the memorable moments and atmo here of the courses; interviews w h the organizer team and professors; owing concert and course venues etc. Creating events promoting the concerts and accompanying programs Beyond the above listed a iv ies applicants can present their individual programs and proposals. 50% PREFERENTIAL FEE For the partic For the partic ants of the condu or course: 72,000 HUF / 240 Euros ants of the vocal and instrumental courses: 27,000 HUF / 90 Euros Cond ions: A. During the preparation phase: Setting up a conta list w h 50 ems (including univers ies, music s ools and normal s ools) for a dire promotion of the festival and/or Making a list of 25 media outlets offering their conta details for the dire promotion of the festival and/or Wr ing a ort article on festival-related topics su as: survey on the castle building; the ort history of Esterházy family; portra s on course professors; survey on the history of the festival; diverse points of interest about the composers highlighted in the festival program etc. and/or Compiling of imagery (posters, photos, instagram also) refle ing the a ual y of early music. B. During festival time (beyond attending the courses): Compilation of a feedba estionnaire and carrying out online and offline resear es (via google form and printed form) at the end of the festival Organizing fla mobs and street performances in the close-by c ies and towns Assistance in commun y building a iv ies 20% PREFERENTIAL FEE For condu or course partic ants: 115,200 HUF / 384 Euros For vocal and instrumental course partic ants: 43,200 HUF / 144 Euros 20% preferential fee is available to Those applicants from Hungary and abroad who send pre-re stration form not later than 28 February Those applicants who recru new partic ants (persons who have never taken part in any master course of Early Music Days). Beyond the above detailed opportun ies any creative ideas and contents are welcomed and rewarded w h further preferences.

4 Applicants w h eminent academic performance and compet ion scores can be ent led to have further allowances. Applicants are re ested to inform the organiser about these results. PARTICIPATION FEE FOR OBSERVANT PARTICIPANTS For condu or course partic ants: 25,000 HUF / 80 Euros For instrumental and vocal sourse partic ants: 15,000 HUF / 70 Euros Partic ation fee includes the fees of attending the courses and performing at the opening and ending concerts. Partic ants who want to take part in all concerts during the festival can book their places for 6000 HUF / 20 Euros. Partic ation fees are being payed after arriving to the venues. The nomination fee must be transferred not later than 30 April 2017 to the following bank account: Filharmonia Hungary Nonprofit Ltd.
