20 SOFTWARE - TTIgest SACI has deveoped the TTIgest, to optimize and chec water, gas, eectricity, consumption etc., in appications such as hotes, harbours, rented ofices, etc. The system is compatibe with our TTI - TTIM totaizers and MAR power anayzers. It is designed to manage power consumption by these meters and to issue the corresponding bis. It is not an accounting or biing system. It is a program which checs meters and issues bis. First a required data is deined to issue these bis. Then the physica eements comprising the instrument networ are conigured, such as the meters and totaizers. The TTIgest program must be instaed on a PC with the foowing minimum requirements: CPU: Pentium 200 MM RAM: 64 Mb Screen: VGA with 1Mb Monitor: Coour, 14 Software: Windows 98, Me, T4, 2000 or p DOES OT OPERATE WITH WI95 It must aso have a seria port for the RS RS485 (IFRxx) converter connection and a series port for the mouse. It must aso have a parae port for connecting the anti-copying device and a printer. Microsoft Internet Exporer 4.x or above must be instaed. Its operation is very simpe. An Input customer button associates the required meters to customer use. They tae the meter s vaues and store them. Another button, Customer Output reads the associated meters again, cacuates power consumption and issues a bi with the reevant charges. The sef biing option may be chosen for each time period. The totaizers with memory (TTIM) can create oad curves, examining the data numericay or as a graph as we as printing and exporting it. The new version incudes a uncheced consumption histories for a meters (using header meters) pus the assigned and non assigned checed consumption. Innovations incude the prepaid checing, aowing each meter s baance to be checed or aowing coective or individua contributions to be made. 21 STARTIG-UP Start-up consists in identifying a the physica eements comprising the instrument system and the necessary data for issuing bis. - Deinition: ecessary eements are as foows: - Currency: The currency appearing on the bis is deined. - VAT Types: Different types of VAT may be deined. - Tariffs: Aso different tariffs may be set. - Daiy costs: Daiy ixed contract costs may be associated to preset meters. - Free consumption: Free consumption imits may be assigned to meters. - Bi: A components on the bi are deined, incuding the automatic biing option. - Customer: Option for accessing the customer data base. - Password: To protect the operations to be carried out. - Setting: Representing the physica eements comprising the system. - Modems: Modem communication may be estabished. - Totaizers: Identiies the totaizers (TTI or TTIM) on the system. - Meters: A existing meters with their VAT identiication, tariff, daiy cost, free consumption, units, factor, etc. Header meters are aso deined. - Groups: Option for associating severa meters in one group to manage them as one singe eement. - Reports: To chec the system s defaut settings, communications and bis. Customer Entry That is to say, when a customer enters to use the instaation, he ony has to be started as a customer, if not one aready, and then he is shown which meter system or group to which he is to be assigned. Once this is done, the system reads the meters and stores the vaues. An innovation aows the use of histories to be used for inputs and the option for not issuing bis. Customer Departure When a customer eaves the instaation, the eements associated with that customer are seected and the meters are read. Consumption is cacuated and the bi issued. Histories may aso be used on departure. Customer departure may be previousy set so that it is automaticay carried out. Bis Aows the bis which are to be issued to be checed, deeted and printed. It is aso possibe to add independent items to a customer as required. Stored bis may be dispayed, canceed, deeted and printed. Automatic manua biing is aowed. Errors The system detects a communication errors and manages them, aowing it to act as a system administrator. Histories This aows oad data curves for meters connected to a totaizer with memory to be examined. Data may be printed and exported and a oad curve graph dispayed between the two seected dates. This new version incudes a oad curve for a meters, uncontroed consumption recordings and assigned and non assigned controed consumption recordings. Prepayment Main innovation in this version. Manages the prepayment checing for customers and informs them to the baance on each in rea time. It aows coective or individua payment incuding setting prepayment tariffs.
