1 Revised 12/09 Rio Arriba County 4-H Cloverbud Record Book A Record Book is a great scrap book of all the fun and interesting thing s you ve learned about and did in 4-H this year. Cloverbud Record Books are used to exhibit the Cloverbuds project work. Cloverbud Record Books are for participation only. Cloverbud Record Books will not be judged. They will receive special recognition at the annual 4-H Awards Program. Your 4-H Cloverbud Record Book Should: Be neat. Report activities of your 4-H work for the current year. Be completed by the Cloverbud member. Before You Begin: Cloverbuds should complete the Project Record Sheet that is in each project book. You will need a record book cover. These are available from the County Extension office. Purchase subject-dividers. These are used to divide the different sections of the Record Book. Plan on having FUN while you work on your Cloverbud Record Book! OVER

2 Getting Started Sections you should have: Introduction Page: The first section in your Record Book is the introduction page. Paste a picture of yourself on this page and fill out the information. 4-H Story: The second section of the Record Book will be your 4-H story. This page begins with; This year I had fun doing Members may draw a picture, paste a photo or write a story about having fun in Cloverbuds. General 4-H Pictures: The third section of the Record Book is for pictures showing the member involved in any 4-H activity or event. Limit pictures to no more than 1 page. Other hand drawn pictures or photos can be used in the Cloverbud Project Record Sheets. Label all photos with a brief caption that explains the picture. Citizenship, Community Service and Leadership: The fourth section of the Record Book is to help Cloverbuds recognize their involvement with others. Members are encouraged to use all pages but do not have to use all three pages. Include blank pages or write a goal for future involvement. This section is limited to 1 page for each service. Member may draw a picture, paste a photo or write a story about this section. 4-H Cloverbud Projects: The fifth section of the Record Book is for Cloverbud Project Books. Only finished project books should be included. I m Special: The sixth section of the Record Book is to exhibit any special awards the Cloverbud has earned in the current year. Place certificates, news clippings, letters, and copies or a photograph of ribbons and/or trophies. DO NOT INCLUDE ACTUAL RIBBONS.
