The thesis is strong and offers a strong focus for the eam. -The outline/organizer provides a close reading of book and film using comparison and contrast patterns of development. The writer has done a strong job of using three main points of comparison which can lead to a strong final essay. -The main points analyze the significance of the changes between book and film. Some analysis is offered; author was reminded to focus on the analysis and its impact on the reader/viewer. Organization -Ideas are logically arranged and help move paper forward. The writer shows an understanding of thesis and paragraph development. Making sure to use the three main ideas to write three strong body paragraphs in the final eam will show the writer s understanding of paragraph development. -Each proposed main point is focused on one aspect of the topic and helps support the thesis statement.
