Lakenham Letters Postcards and Letters I am in Great Yarmouth on the ride tasting the sweet pink cloud swilling on my tongue as I ride the merry-go-round on a horse called Bella. When I went onto the sand, it was hugging my toes but when I went to the cold, blue sea the sand went away t o China or Russia. As I walked onto the beach I saw a hermit crab trying to go to the shore so I helped him. From Ishua. Hello, I m Brooke and I m going to tell you something very exciting so look forward to it! Now let s get started, firstly I am very so so so so so so so so so so so so excited to get a puppy Yeeeeah! I m getting him next week. I am on the way to Devon and at this moment I am on the coach which is so boring and plus it smells horrid. Then I went on the train. Finally, we are here. We are going to stay in a caravan. We love it here. I can taste the candy in my mouth. From Aisha. I would like to be a mermaid living in the sea and swimming with the fishes. Imagine what I could do: race the fishes, do gymnastics and everything else. I d wake up in the morning comb my hair with a shell, watch the seahorses swimming with their young. From Suhani I m writing to you from my house watching TV, by the way, my name is Mahiya. I am writing to you because I want to tell you about my day. It has been such a wonderful day. I was really excited when I heard that I was going to be writing to you. Anyways, I just wish I could sit all day at home watching TV and eat KFC and listen to music with my headphones. Goodbye from Mahiya

I am having an extraordinary time at Carrow Road watching Norwich vs Swindon with my friend Chance. I could hear the deafening noise of the enormous crowd shouting, come on you yellows! I could see the Norwich players keeping possession of the ball. I could smell the delicious scent of food coming from the snack bar. I could taste the cool fresh air zooming past me. The game was amazing. Goodbye from Leo S. I have been on a journey that I loved because I saw all my cousins. We had so much fun. Guess what it was the after party. But the sad part is that it was my grandad s funeral. From Nathaniel My name is Zara. I like gymnastics and I do it all the time home and sometimes I get told off for doing it all the time. I come to Lakenham Primary School in year 2 and now I m in year 5. I like being indoors. If I could go anywhere in the world I would go back to the city I was born in, London. Also after school my nanny and two of my uncles are coming to my house. What primary school did you go to? From Zara. My name is Laila. It might be a strange name to say. I would like to visit Spain because I have never been. Right now, I am in my classroom in Lakenham Primary School writing to you. I am 9 years old. I do gymnastics and dance, I like to be a spy when I am older. I would love to be a hip hop person basically who does hip hop. Do you like to do any of these things? They are really amazing. From Laila My name is Isabelle but I prefer to be called either Izzy or Belle. Right now I am in school. I like school because I love learning. Did you love learning when you were a kid? At the moment I haven t been many interesting places but I m ok with that because I like it here. The reason I like my life here is because I have a loving family, an amazing school and a best friend, her name is Kelly. Me and

Kelly have had our arguments but in the end we always figure things out and forgive each other. I do a lot of things after school like tonight I ve got violin practice and tomorrow I ve got karate. Did you do any clubs when you were a kid? If you didn t were there any clubs you wanted to do? From Izzy I am sitting here at school wondering what to write. I wonder what life was like back in the day? Was it similar at all, in general back then at all? I apologise for my handwriting it s probably because I am so tired from the last few days when I ve been to a party and I ve had to stay at a club after school because my mum and stepdad went to a funeral on a school day. I m now back to square one with no idea what to write. Can you wait until Christmas because I can t? Well really I m excited for December so I can open my advent calendar. I can put the Christmas tree and the winter holidays. I m also excited for Guy Fawkes night but I ve got no time left as I ve got to go to break time. From Harry B. P.S. hope you have a good day. My name is Abigaile. I was born in England, but I am Lithuanian. My Lithuanian accent isn t the best, but I am getting there. I am at school, my class is called Galileo, but our school is called Lakenham Primary School. I have no pets because my mum is allergic to furry animals and can t get no fur animals because when we go to Lithuania, nobody will be looking after the animals. Me, my mum and my one year old brother live in the same house. Once I had a funny dream that me, my uncle and grandpa were in my grandpa s car and we were driving past cartoon rocket ships and then there was a giant wave and then my uncle gave me a tiny top hat and said I will protect you from the giant wave. I ve also had a scary and funny dream where my Sistema teacher was trying to kill and I saved a boy called Aj and he was like 8 and was apparently my brother and then at the end we were eating corncakes. Have you had any funny dreams? And if you have can you tell me them? From Abigaile I m at school sitting in my chair. My name is Mason and I am a Tottenham fan and my favourite player is Delel Ali, Harry Kane, Hugo Loris. Have you visited Wembley? Because it s my dream to go to Wembley. Who do you support? Because I love Tottenham and I am in Year 5. I really want to see Dele Ali, I have been watching him every day and I really want to be like Harry Kane. Please I want to get scouted from Tottenham, you are better than Arsenal and I am a big fan. I am 9 years old, every day, you Harry Kane are better than Arsenal s defence. I play football, I have good passing and skills and free kicks and shooting. Please I really want to be like you. From Mason

My name is Aiesha and when I grow up I want to work in an office or live in a very big house with 2 toilets. I would like to live in New York. I would like to have a nice life in the future. I would like to go to university. Right now I live in a house with 1 toilet. It is still big but when I grow up I would like for it to be even bigger. My favourite film is Homeward Bound. The school I go to is Lakenham, It is a good school. It is fun here. I m in Year 5 Year 5 is very fun. Our teacher is called Mrs. Mendham. She is really nice, she is one of the nicest teachers in the school. My favourite fruits are apples, bananas, grapes and strawberries. What are your favourite foods? From Aiesha-Marie My name is Gracie-May and I am sitting here right now at Lakenham Primary School writing to you. I am going to tell you about myself. My favourite hobby is horse riding. I have two dogs, two cats and a hamster. My nanny passed away a few weeks ago and I really miss her. I am nine years old and have a 34-year-old dad and a 38 year old mum, a 7 year old brother and a 13 year old brother. My dogs are called AJ and Jeff, my cats are called Mo and Tiddles and my hamster is called Flash. Do you have anything in common? From Gracie-May My name is Diva. Right now I am in my classroom, in Lakenham writing a letter. I m 9 years old and I come from Portugal. I moved here from Norwich when I was 5. Ihave visited America, Greece and Tenerife. I would like to visit Australia, Brazil and Mexico. I like doing gymnastics and dance. Do you like to do these things? In Portugal there are lots of different beaches. Every year I go to Portugal to see my friends and family. Did you used to dance? From Diva I wish I could time travel backwards so I could see my grandma because she died a few weeks ago. I also wish I could go to Scotland and see my other nanny. I also wish I could go on holiday and go to a beach because I have never actually been on holiday. I hope I can. From Gracie-May

I can remember going to the Peak District back in Easter. I stayed there for three fabulous days of tours around there. I tasted the delicious taste of pizza and McDonalds veggie burger. I smelled the flowers and fresh air. In the countryside I heard leaves rustling and birds chirping. I saw many hills, acres of land and a village called Tissington. I got my new fidget spinner that day. These are my experiences of the Peak District. From Amogh I am writing to tell you about my trip to Sheringham earlier this year. The adventure started when I got on the train at Norwich station and sat down. No more than ten minutes in a group of people came and gave us cakes because it was the train line s 20gth anniversary and after that we relaxed and waited for the train to stop. Once we were there we looked in a few shops and after we went to the fish and chip shop. We went to the beach and ate our fish and chips and our cakes from the train. From Harry B I can remember the sea shimmering from the sun. By the way I was in the Caribbean. The sand was smooth between my toes. I could smell fresh crab, I could taste salt in the air. The sea warm and I see coloured fish. I can hear the waves splashing against the sand. It was amazing it was one of the bank holiday ever. From Esmee I went on holiday not so long ago. If you wondering the place was called Wales. It was so much fun going with my mum, brother, nanny and grandad. We drove to the beach I could smell the salty sea. There were a lot of jellyfish the sunset was beautiful. It s the best holiday yet, every single day we went swimming and played football. I loved it! My favourite thing was going to the beach in the caves. Now going, bye. Hope you have a good rest of the day. From Jarmyn I have just been on an adventure. It is a beautiful place, Australia. \i\t is really hot in Australia, it is all so sunny, I can hear birds From Lily-Rose

I once went to the seaside at Great Yarmouth with lots of my cousins, but it was a long time ago. I was scared of getting too deep in the sea and my feet really hurt because of all the stones in the sand. We took some pictures of Great Yarmouth that I still sometimes look at now. From Zara I m in England. Yesterday my brother bit my finger really hard now I have a small mark on my finger, but he s one year old and his teeth are still growing. Once I had a funny dream where me, my grandpa and uncle were in my grandpa s car and we were driving by cartoon rocket ships and then there was a big wave and my uncle gave me a tiny top hat and then he said it will protect me from the wave. From Abigaile I can remember when I went to a rugby match at the Saracens Stadium and it was so atmospheric. I also got hold of the massive shirt on the pitch and I got a signature. I play for a team called Wymondham. We were the best team there and we won every game. Yours sincerely, Kingsley I remember when I went to Athens and saw the Parthenon. It was really fun. I went to Corfu too. And the hotels were really tall and you could see the beach from the hotel. The water in the swimming pool was really cold. You could smell the lovely food from outside and it made me really hungry. The sand on the beach is burning hot. The Parthenon in Athens was as tall as Mount Olympus. From Diva I can remember in the summer holidays when I went to Holland on a cycling holiday and it was amazing. And I went with my whole family, my dad, mum, big sister, me and my little sister. When we went over a causeway I could taste the sea salt. From Martha

I have been on an invisible journey back in time. When my nephew was born in His name is Jacob. Two years later another trouble maker was born in 2017, his name is Maseri. I am 9 years old. I hope you enjoy my work. From Ruby Rose
