Event: UWSP Homecoming Time: ll:ooam until 7:30 Number of people expected: Between 800 and 1000 depending on weather Restrooms: Music: Parking: Security: Three inside and 20 port-a-potties outside DJ beginning at noon or possibly a band Partner's east lot and street parking north of Goerke Field Ten security plus 2 owners, and 2 uniformed SPPD officers The tavern and outside beer areas are to be fenced off as in years past. 5 September 18, 2012 City Clerk John Moe 1515 Strongs Avenue Stevens Point, WI Dear Clerk, Association of Downtown Businesses A Main Street Community PO Box 675, Stevens Point, WI Re: Downtown Holiday Parade This letter will serve as our request to hold the 24 th Annual Holiday Parade downtown Stevens Point, on Friday evening, November 16, The parade will again start at 6:15 p.m., with the same route as prior years, along Main Street, ending at the Market Square. This will require parking restrictions to be posted along Main Street early in the day, and the street to be closed around 4:30 p.m. Registered floats will be instructed that line-up begins at 4:30 p.m. We are again working with the Police Science classes at Mid-State Technical College on this event. Their students will serve as security for the parade and will work the Stevens Point Police Department.
