Other stage credits include Rufus Wainwright s Prima Donna (New York City Opera/Luminato) and the title role in Oscar Wilde s Salome (San Francisco Bay Area s Critics Circle Awards, Outstanding Production and Choreography). On-camera work includes (Hulu/J.J. Abrams) and Copper (BBC America/Cineflix), and with her company Midnight Snack Miranda has written, produced, and acted in two short films, Alegra & Jim and Body Parts (Telefilm s Not Short on Talent at Berlin International Film Festival). Upcoming, she will appear as the lead character Lou in the indie feature film Synchronous. Miranda did her MFA at London International School of Performing Arts in the UK and her BA at Columbia University in New York. JOHN KOENSGEN Josef Džibrilovo/Fight Captain This is John s fourth appearance in Butcher and he s honoured to be working again with Why Not Theatre and members of the company on this amazing play. Other recent theatre: Malvolio in Twelfth Night (National Arts Centre); Alexander in No Great Mischief (Thousand Islands Playhouse); Recent film and TV: Clara s Secret (TV movie), Best Laid Plans (TV series), Mommy s Little Girl (TV movie), The Perfect Stalker (TV movie), First Light (feature), Precious Things (TV movie), and The Disappearance (mini-series). ANDREW MUSSELMAN Hamilton Andrew has performed in Canada, the United States and Ireland. He has been nominated for a Dora and a Merritt Award, and won the Runner-Up for Best Short at MiFo Film Festival. He is a member of the production company, New Neighborhood (co-productions include The Atlantic Theatre Company, The Berkshire Festival, and The Studio Theatre in D.C). He is the on-set acting coach for Backstage, airing worldwide on Disney. He recently made his directorial debut with a short film. TONY NAPPO Detective Lamb Tony Nappo was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He went on to study acting in New York at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He is a theatrical staple in Toronto and has worked in many high profile Hollywood films including Born to be Blue, Four Brothers, Saw2, Land of the Dead, and Murder at He has appeared in endless independent films including This Beautiful City, Beat Down, Stag, You Might As Well Live and The Rainbow Kid. He voices the lead character, Jimmy Falcone, in the hit animated series Fugget About It and has appeared in over a hundred episodes of television including Shoot The Messenger, Remedy, Flashpoint, Killjoys, Rookie Blue, Conviction, Breakout Kings, Saving Hope and Da Vinci s Inquest. He has been nominated for a Canadian Screen Award, an Actra Award, a Broadway World Award and most recently, a Dora Mavor Moore Award. mirvish.com 5
