Chris has been directing for more than 25 years and has been nominated for a number of awards including the Eleanor and Lou Siminovitch Prize in Theatre (2001 and 2004), the Canada Council John Hirsch Award and the Pauline McGibbon Award for directing. Chris is most proud of his role as Dad to twenty one year old Caitlyn, fifteen year old Erin and thirteen year old Quinlan. Having enjoyed his brief ah time recently, Chris is looking forward to more very soon. Alex Mustakas (Artistic Director) Drayton Entertainment: Over the past two decades, Alex has directed close to 100 productions, including Sorry... I m Canadian, Monty Python s Spamalot, Big Band Legends, Annie, 9 To 5: The Musical and Harvey. Other theatre: He has also directed shows at The Grand Theatre (London), Lighthouse Festival (Port Dover), Stage West (Mississauga), Theatre Aquarius (Hamilton), Piggery Theatre (North Hatley, Quebec), Gilbert & Sullivan Society (Waterloo & Toronto), and K-W Musical Productions. Alex holds a Masters Degree in Arts Administration from City University in London, England, and an Honorary Doctorate from Wilfrid Laurier University for his contribution to Canadian theatre. Most recently, Alex was awarded The Queen s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his significant contributions to the arts in Canada. He is also the recipient of the 2009 Maggie Bassett Award from Theatre Ontario, an Ontario Innovation Excellence Award, and has been recognized for his efforts by the City of Waterloo, United Way, and local and regional tourism organizations.
