2 schoolhouse theatre About The Schoolhouse is located in the heart of the old town, adjacent to Canada s original Home Hardware Store and just steps away from the bustling main street. With unique gift shops, excellent restaurants, museums and galleries, as well as quaint country inns and B&Bs, the village of is the perfect spot to spend a few days. Set in a renovated 17 village schoolhouse, this professional theatre is high on charm. With only 100 seats and remarkable acoustics, the intimate atmosphere lends itself to cabaret-style performances, where you can enjoy a beverage at your table that s positioned just a few feet from the stage. Intermission Enjoy treats in your seats! You may bring beverages and snacks purchased in the lobby inside the theatre with you. We offer a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. We also carry a selection of refreshing ice cream treats. Please note, the Schoolhouse has cabaret style seating. No outside food or beverages are permitted in the theatre auditorium. Washroom Facilities The men s and accessible washroom is located at the rear of the theatre auditorium. The women s washroom is located downstairs to the left of the coat rack. Accessibility Drayton Entertainment is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to patrons with disabilities. There are designated wheelchair spots available at each performance. Please contact our box office to book wheelchair seating in advance of the performance. We are pleased to offer infrared hearing devices at no charge. Patrons who require our wireless hearing assist system may pick up a personal device at the Box Office. Parking A limited number of free parking spaces are available in the theatre parking lot. Additional free parking can be found along Albert St., King St. and in the Municipal Lot at King and Front St. Overnight parking is not permitted in the theatre parking lot.
